This magnificent statue measures 16 3/4 Inches Tall, 9 inches Wide and 6 1/2 inches Deep. It is a superb representation of Water and Moon Quan-Yin, the Buddhist embodiment of compassion and mercy, originally carved in China in Liao Dynasty (907-1125) and current housed at Nelson-Atkins museum of art. Made with cold cast resin and hand-painted, the definition and the intricate details of this piece are simply breathtaking. The photograph does not do it justice. This statue is much more beautiful in person and is heavy for its size. It is truly a well-made product and an excellent representation of Asian Art, very much worthy of your art collection or as the centerpiece for your personal altar.

The caption was right. The photo doesn't do the statue justice. It is a lovely addition to my ever expanding Asian home decor. I have it sitting atop a black bookcase and it looks fantastic. A birthday gift to myself. The detail is great and the hand painting is awesome.

Did not care or this at all....Seated Water and Moon Kuan-yin (Guanyin) Bodhisattva Statue Hand-painted Sculpture This was originally 108.00...I paid 42.00 I think it looks Cheap...the colors are just as it shows...and some may like it...for me I prefer the bronze look....This is to LOUD color wise.....for my taste!~
