THE PRODUCT - WHEN AVAILABLE IS VERY TASTY - THOUGH THE ONE WE PURCHASED ON 11/08/08 DID NOT HAVE A LEGIBLE PRODUCT EXPIRATION DATE. THE FIELD RESERVED FOR THE DATE WAS LEFT BLANK. LEAVING US TO WONDER WETHER WE PURCHASED A STOLLEN BAKED IN 2008 OR EARLIER.

I WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO THIS HOLIDAY FAVORITE WHEN I LIVED IN HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA......THERE I MADE MY PURCHASES FROM THE LOCAL GERMAN TOWN SHOPPING VENUE, WHEN I MOVED THIRTY MILES AWAY, I STILL DROVE TO GET THERE FOR THIS BIT OF CHRISTMAS MAGIC. ;-) FIVE YEARS AGO I RELOCATED TO DENVER, CO...............PANIC SET IN AROUND THANKSGIVING, SO I STARTED TO "SURF" THE INTERNET FOR MY FIX. LUCKILY I FOUND THIS VENDOR AND THEY'RE OUTSTANDING, I HAVE LEARNED TO ORDER EARLY, THEY RUN OUT FAST, I CAME CLOSE TO MISSING IT ONE YEAR, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SAD RESULT COME CHRISTMAS MORNING.
