I have been looking for a good bread knife for a long time. I bought this product for my daughter-in-law in red and one for myself in black. We are both Very pleased with this knife. It is very sharp and cuts even my fresh homemade bread without smashing the slices. We also like the cover to keep us from cutting our hands when we reach into our drawer. I would recommend this product.

This is very attractive, nicely designed, slim and refined. The color has remained true and I am pleased with the performance.

I gave these as Christmas gifts to friends, family members and clients, and they were all appreciative. I use it for just about everything...not only bread. The knife is available in black as well as red...what I like about the red, is that I keep it in the protective cover and find it easily in the drawer. Great value!

This is a good knife for light-duty jobs. It's pretty lightweight, and does light jobs well. Don't put it in the dishwasher though, or the color will come off. I didn't know that beforehand, and when I contacted the company, they sent me a replacement.

My wife saw a cooking show where they used one similiar and asked for one. Found it here and both she and I love it.

This is an excellent knife. I use it for bread, tomatoes, watermelon, etc. I always wash and dry it immediately after use, so it is always available. Love the color too.

Good value for the price; Clean cutting. Got it to cut bread made in Panasonic bread machine. Definitely non-stick. Easy to clean.

This is one of the best knives I have ever bought. And the price was great too.. I would highly recommend these knives to everyone..

this knife was bought to replace my old multifunction knife that is getting rather too dull to cut bread nowadays. my only nit is that i wish i could get it with a longer blade. yes, a 10-inch blade would make for a 13- to 14-inch knife but i find myself needing to be very careful not to dig the tip of the blade in when cutting a loaf. that is NOT the fault of the blade! [*grin*] i knew the length when i ordered it.

the red is neato! i've already got a divot in the enamel - dunno how it got there. it's quite small, so i am not unhappy about it.

cuts wonderfully smoothly. that's why i bought it and i'm VERY pleased. the handle is comfy and a two-tone red that looks good.

rated FOUR cuz it's actually better than i thot it would be.

I bought some of the Kuhn Rikon knives for myself. Liking them so much, I gave a variety of the sheathed knives to my son for Christmas.
They stay sharp even when thrown in a drawer. I do not put them in the dishwasher not knowing how the d/w detergent will effect them over time.
