Initially I was hesitant to buy it because of the significant price difference with the other pressure cookers, finally after lots of thinking,I decided to get the family style 8 qt stockpot.
I cannot be happier with this purchase. I am able to cook delicious, wholesome food in a short period of time. The operation is also very simple and quiet. I am looking forward to try new recipes using this cooker. I love this pressure cooker so much, I am planning to install a bigger sink in the kitchen! You definitely get what you paid for!

I have the 2.5l Braiser and 6l pot as well and don't regret spending extra for the Kuhn Rikon brand. I never used pressure cookers before and now I find myself planning all my meals around this appliance and can have all 3 going at once. The mechanisms are flawless, clean up is a breeze and this size can easily hold a good Sunday roast. These are gorgeous pots that look good on a stove top and to keep them looking good I store the lid upside down in the pot with a towel between them so the metal cannot mark. I also keep the rubber gasket in the pot while it's not in use, it's quick and easy to pop it into the lid when the time comes.
