I found a pair of these at my local TJ Maxx store. I was actually searching for something skinny and pliable enough to reach down into my toaster to reach for english muffins. I searched for months before I found these. Then, my husband discovered them. He uses them for all sorts of things. Flipping bacon/sausage in the skillet, on the BBQ grill, and yes, english muffins. I had to get 2 more so he would quit stealing mine!

I love kitchen things. But these tongs! They are the best. I saw them at TJ Maxx, in blue, for 4.99, and I couldn't stop playing with them- but I didn't want blue. So I was so happy to find them in black on Amazon. They are so flexible, and yet durable. They have a nice delicate action- unlike the tongs that seem like they would be more at home in the garage (being so industrial).

I love the coating. I love the action. These are, for me, the perfect tongs.

I've got loads of tongs, but this one is my favorite; I have it in red, and it is surprisingly sturdy. A bonus is that you can throw them in the dishwasher too.

I wanted to film myself trying to use these at the stove. Instead, I thought it would be better to show you WHY these tongs were a regrettable purchase.

i try to spend my money wisely, buying the best i can afford, yet the items needs to be able to multi-task, also. i was so excited after reading the RAVING reviews about the Kuhn Ridon tongs. i had finally found the perfect tongs for my kitchen. i bought four with the special offer at amazon, buy three items, get the fourth one free, with plans to share my fantastic find. WRONG!!! they DO not scratch my non-stich, nor my enamel covered cast iron. they ARE high heat resistant for the grill. you just can't PICK UP ANYTHING WITH THEM. it slides right out of the tongs. it doesn't matter if it's chicken breast, ribeye, or buffalo wings. it keeps slipping out and you end up chasing it all over the pan or grill, and if the food item is breaded, well, it won't be by the time you get through. the same goes for veggies or pasta. SO very dissappointed that i spent close to forty dollars for something so useless. PLEASE, if you plan to do a review, be HONEST. lesson learned?! try it out before investing in more than one AND take the reviewers with a grain of salt.

Love this product. My kids don't scratch the pans anymore when cooking bacon (the forks can stay in the drawer). Put it right in the dishwasher to clean. One of my best and most useful buys

...but I do. How did I get along for 40 years without one? Love it and find new uses for it almost daily.

If you've used the longer cooking chopsticks before these have a similar feel. They're metal with a heavy silicon coating. Multi-functional and agile, not clumsy like regular larger tongs. I tend to hold these with a more chopstick-like grip when working with delicate items as it provides more control and precision, such as stuffed mushrooms. These are grill worthy but seem like they might have trouble with heavier items like large chicken breasts, though I have not done a test of this. I find myself using these often for things such as stir-frying, serving noodles, handling scallops, and even chicken nuggets. I recommend these to everyone looking for silicon tongs when precision is important, build and material quality are excellent.

These are nice, haven't had an opportunity to use them yet. One problem I have with online ordering is that colors are not always as depicted, and I wish there was a standard color chart with numbers depicting the varied tones and shades. These tongs are described as RED, they are pictured as a very bright tomato red, but they are much darker, a blue/red like raspberry. I have slowly been replacing many of my kitchen items with bright cheerful red ones, so this color is somewhat disappointing. I found the same problem with some Kuhn-Rikon wire whisks. The heart shaped whisk was pictured as a bright red and was actually a darker blue/red. I admit that I am making color a priority when I should be rating a product on performance. I am sure I will learn to love these tongs even if they aren't really RED in my mind.

Got these to use with our non-stick pans. They work great and are dishwasher safe.
