I bought this whisk on a whim, because I have a countertop container of whisks, and thought the colored tines would add to its visual appeal. I discovered the bonus that the extra curl in the tines makes for very efficient blending, even when I grab a container that is almost too shallow for the ingredients I'm blending. I whisked scrambled eggs with this whisk and then with my standard small balloon whisk. The Rikon made quicker work and a better blend.
And my grandaughter said, "Fun colors!"

I have been trying to replace an old roux whisk with something coated in silicone to protect a new set of non-stick pots I recently got. This is not really all that flat ... the picture is a little deceiving. Also, there is a lot of play in the tines. You wouldn't be able to effectively whisk thicker mixtures with this. It would be good for eggs or cream, but if you plan on batters or heavier sauces, look for something else. I do like it, but it is not what I'd call multi-purpose.

What a nice whisk. Won't scrape up your pans and sorta fun to use. This would be a nice practical gift item for a wedding shower.

It's a great whisk. It is especially good for use in tall, narrow containers.

Bought as a gift. It is very fun and colorful and the person I gave it to really enjoys using it.
