this is the cutest & safest toddler helmet available with 3 covers. It is CPSC approved, too!

Just received this helmet in the mail: and I have to agree with the cuteness factor/design: you will NOT find a cuter helmet anywhere!!
BUT: It doesn't help that the helmet is cute when it is waaaaaay too small. I challenge anyone with a little boy to fit this helmet onto their head at age 2, that will be impossible. My sons head is measured at the 60th percentile for his agegroup (22 months), so basically just a tad bit above average, and it is NOT fitting him...And this helmet is marked from +3yrs!!???!!! What?!!
There is NO WAY that would fit on any 3 yr olds head. Maybe if I had bought this helmet last spring (when my son was just over a year) it would have been good, but for now: no way.
It is going back tomorrow I am sorry to say. Wish I would have taken the other reviews more seriously.

I ordered this for my 2.5 year-old daughter, but there is no hope of making it fit her head. It is just too small. She does have a rather large head for her age (51.5 cm), but I measured her head, and she should be able to fit into a toddler-size helmet. Just beware if your toddler has a larger-than-average head size, because this helmet is sized smaller than the Bell brand toddler size, even though Kuji says it is for ages 3+, just like the Bell brand. I am going to return it, even though it is an awesome helmet in all other aspects.

That's what we hear whenever we go about in this helmet. My daughter has outgrown it and I'd really like to find larger sizes with "skins" or whatever they call these helmet covers. We got ours at Target about 3 years ago and just can't commit to another helmet yet.....still looking for similar but larger! Please let us know if you find it! Awesome helmet!

I am extremely disappointed that this helmet is no longer available on Amazon. We loved it for our first son and wanted another for our second. The helmet fits great and the chin strap is secure but easily adjustable. A must for a 2 year old who likes to have it loosened during breaks. We always got comments on what a cute helmet as we ride around.

I was afraig to purchase this helmet because of negative reviews that the helmet is too small. I purchased it anyway and I was glad that I did. My son is a month away from being 3 year old and the helmet fits him perfectly well. It is really adorable and it serves its purpose. 5 stars, great product.

My son received this for the holidays. He is 2 years, 3 months. IT WAS TOO SMALL. He does NOT have a ginormous head. I'm disappointed since it says 3+ and it is just adorable. A real shame.

I purchased this for my 2 yr old toddler and she wore it until she was 4. Then her baby sister adopted it for another two years until it finally gave out. The fit was accurate and with adjustable straps. The core unit is made of styrofoam like most toddler helmets. The animal covers are adorable! The helmet does look slightly large but not awkward. We got comments about how cute the girls looked everywhere we went. It was very unique. The one we had came with a fishy cover and a bee. I would buy this as a gift. Very Satisfied!
