5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful and educational even for a new student or curio
I read this book very early in my study of Kundalini and the Chakra system. I found it to be very helpful and educational, whether you are a new student or just a curious soul. My interest was peaked within moments of opening the book, and I read it straight through in one sitting. I would encourage you to make this purchase, if you have gotten to this point in your...

1.0 out of 5 stars SAVE YOUR MONEY - DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!
If you're interested in reading books which will advance your understanding of spirituality, look elsewhere. This book tells of the spiritual bliss of kundalini, but doesn't tell you how to achieve it. All the book says is that kundalini must be taught by a genuine guru, but there is no advice on how to find one or how to separate the real ones from the fakes.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Bit of knowledge indispensible to a serious meditator, June 25, 1999

When i read this book at the beginning of my meditation practice inquiry...i had no idea there even existed this spiritual energy in each person...most specifically 'used' for uncovering for us the 'goals', experiences, and realizations just waiting to be known...After reading this particular 'Master's' authoritative (because of his own travelling the 'length' of the 'meditation journey') words and inspiration on the subject..it so 'drew me'...that i was naturally impelled to take steps leading to the application of what was in the 'book'...it was pivotal, so i joyfully give my recommendation! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars A compact basic for a Siddha Yoga student, June 17, 2001

This review is from: Kundalini: The Secret of Life (Paperback)
This is a must read for anyone who is just learning of the wonderful unfolding of the Kundalini within their bodies. Without having the light of understanding some of the effects of Kundalini awakening can be strange and frightening. This book offers comfort and understanding to anyone who has been touched 'by the grace of a Guru'. Swami Muktananda's way of writing is easy to understand and seems to transmit large doses of love.

This review is from: Kundalini: The Secret of Life (Paperback)
Kundalini, written by Baba Muktananda and one of his disciples, is a brief testament to the extraordinary power of the divine energy concealed within each and every human being. The release of the Kundalini energy is accomplished only through the grace of a true guru. That this book is authored by such a being fills it and its readers with the bliss of which it so eloquently speaks. Read it, and then read it again and again.
