5.0 out of 5 stars Kundalini Yoga for Conditioning,, March 1, 2001

Takashi Araki (Sterling, VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kundalini Yoga for Relaxation II Sports Yoga (VHS Tape)
Features: 1:One long 70 minutes session. 2:Same structure with "Kundalini Yoga for Relaxation" 3:Preparation sequence takes 15 minutes, it is a good, deep sequence now. 4:Demonstration done by 1 person, so you can see the correct pose clearer. 5:Main sequence takes about 45 minutes. About half of them are same with "Kundalini Yoga for Relaxation", while the rest periods are shorter and less frequent.

I had a very hard time to follow the sequence at first, "Breath of Fire" makes the simple pose like Bow pose very challenging. I needed 2 months of daily works to get to the point I am comfortable with the sequence. I feel already great. My wife was amazed to witness the visible changes of my body. I am 38 years old, but I am in better shape than any time in my life, and it is getting better and better! I can feel it, see it.!

Conclusion, if you are young, fit person, get on. Otherwise, you might want to try with "Kundalini Yoga for Relaxation" first. When I started the yoga in July of 2000, I weighed about 200lb with very clumsy rigid body. I moved on to this sequence since Jan. of 2001. And now, at the March of 2001, I weigh 165lb and have never been this flexible. The meditation parts of the sequences really give me a good calming time and my body, mind, and spirit changed drasticly with these two videos.

4.0 out of 5 stars Challenging but energizing series, September 25, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Kundalini Yoga for Relaxation II Sports Yoga (VHS Tape)
This is not a tape for people new to Kundalini Yoga. However, once you have the basics down (such as breath of fire), it is a great fun series. As someone who just barely has the basics down, this is a yoga set that will remain challenging for sometime.
