If you are curious about the benefits of yoga, this book is a wonderful introduction. Yoga, which at first seems foreign and odd to many, is made clear and easy to understand here.
Try the exercises! If you start with 15 minutes at a time of the powerful exercises in this book, you will notice dramatic and wide-ranging benefits including a more balanced temperament, more self-discipline, and greater willpower. Dedicated practice is said by some to even empower the yogi (student) to ease pain and cure illness!
For those who feel self-conscious about taking a class but want to learn about this serene, healthful practice, this book will be wonderful and inspiring.
And do the exercises! They work!

I like this book very much. Ravi Singh is an excellent writer on the topic of Kundalini Yoga. He writes as someone who has learned from the master but can take his teachings and make them his own. He is a beautiful poet as well. This book is easy to read and I found the exercises easy to understand and perform. A good book to have in your yoga library.

Sad, that though this is still available from used sellers, etc, it is out of print. Ravi took my brand new yoga practice and launched me into the Cosmos! Perfectly laid out to combine different aspects of the practice into personal sessions. It made the practice so personal and accessible. Everything is covered from mantras to kriyas to meditations. Must have for any practitioner.
