An enlightening book about the Kurdish Diasporas,

I found this book extremely interesting and helpfull, as I am writing my thesis about Kurdish immigrants and refugees in Europe. It includes an introductory section about Kurds and their situation in Turkey, Iran and Iraq. The comparison between the two refugee communities in England and Finland was very informative.

The book is defintely worth it! I found it gave me a good theoretical framework for studying the Kurds, as a diaspora. Although his book covers the Kurdish diaspora in Finland and England, it can be used as a "guide-post" for the study of the Kurds in other parts of the diaspora, as well. As a sociologist and an avid student of Kurdish studies, I find this piece of work to be a seminal one in the developing field of Kurdish sociology.
