Neat idea and theme but this is a total stretch as a nutcracker. Would have like his mouth to open like the real thing...but great as a conversation piece.

My 12-yr-old son collects nutcrackers and is the kind of Star Trek fanatic that can tell you the title of every Star Trek episode and what happens in that episode - from the original thru Next Gen and even Enterprise! So what better Christmas gift??? He thought it was hysterical!!! It looks rather odd next to his other nutcrackers who are decked out for Christmas and carrying swords or drums, but we all love Captain Kirk and are thrilled to include him in our collection. The flipped open communicator in his hand is an especially amusing touch.
