Well gee folks it smells like plastic. LOL! Smells like consumerism and exploitation of dead celebrities LOL!
Really funny jokes aside it's comical seeing Kurt in action figure form. I heard he even made sarcastic jokes about the concept himself.
Whether the existence of this figure would upset him or not I'm not sure. I'm guessing it would have because people are profiting off of his image but whatever it's f'n awesome. I don't see it as complete exploitation though i see it as more of a tribute.
I like action figures and I love Nirvana. I couldn't care less about the politics involved.

This is basically a statue. The only movement here is a swivel joint in his elbows and 360 rotation in his neck.
He comes with a guitar as a separate accessory. The guitar is based off of Kurt's Lake Placid Blue Fender Mustang of the competition series which has three racing stripes on the body. As far as i can tell it's an accurate replica.

The face sculpt is a pretty good likeness. It doesn't look as good as it could have but it looks enough like Kurt and is a much more impressive sculpt then it's unplugged counterpart. At first I didn't like how they chose to do his hair but it grew on me and i love it now. Everything else is perfect. Great detail in the clothing. His right hand is sculpted into a power chord the exact way Kurt played and you can position his hand to the first fret if you want, which is the opening chord to the song.

All in all i think it was well worth the money. I actually got mine for fifteen bucks on eebay a few years ago but twenty is still a good price. I bought the John Lennon in NY figure for twenty and this Kurt pwns that. It's my favorite figure in my collection.
I think it's time for a new figure though. NECA has really improved since they released this and a new Kurt figure is guaranteed to be even more accurate. There are enough outfits and moments to choose from NECA could think of something.
I mean c'mon Elvis has like 30 different figures and Kurt kicks Elvis's a55. It'd also be cool to see some krist and dave figures. Metallica has the whole band available after all. But I'm sure there are legal things holding back a full Nirvana set.

Anyway what are you waiting for!? Put Twenty dolls down on a statue of an idolized rockstar! What was that? You were thinking of spending the money on a meal for a starving child in Sierra Leone instead?

But I know you won't. Because we have a tendency to put our own entertainment as a higher priory than saving other human lives.

This is perfect for any Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fan. It looks great, definitely reminiscent of the Smells Like Teen Spirit music video. I bought it as a gift but almost kept it for myself! If you are thinking of getting it, I would recommend you do so. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this for one of my friends because she is obsessed with Nirvana. She loved it very very much, the detail isn't bad and suppose to be from the classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit" music video from 1991.

I notices that the price increased by ten dollars after I bought it, so I'm sure that it is highly collectable and the price will get steeper, better get it while the price is right.

I am a HUGE fan of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, This Action Figure has to be the coolest figure that I own, It is so Detailed and is great to enjoy in or out of the packaging. also if you deside to buy this one, you might as well buy the Unplugged figure to. there both worth owning.

I got this as a birthday gift for my son. He is a huge Nirvana Fan and absolutely loved it. It fits right in with his Nirvana book and music collection. Great detail!
