4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey with Shipping & Handling
I purchased these diaper liners and they worked fine. Read carefully - the picture shows 3 rolls--you only get one. It does what it says it's supposed to do. I don't understand everyone saying that you can wash them. They tear up pretty easily in the wash. Sometimes, one will come out in one piece, but many times, they break apart--not to be used again. 3.0 out of 5 stars Kushies not so soft on the tushie
I've been cloth diapering using Bum Genius, Fuzzi Bunz and Happy Heineys for about a year now. I originally used gDiapers for a while and was ready to move up into the world of greenness. Well as my toddler eats more and more adult like food, his poop, is well, more adultlike. I felt that for myself, husband parents and baby sitters this might be a little less "gross"...

I don't understand everyone saying that you can wash them. They tear up pretty easily in the wash. Sometimes, one will come out in one piece, but many times, they break apart--not to be used again. So if you're wondering what they are and what the texture is like--just take a baby wipe and sit it out to dry. That's it. It's almost like a dried out baby wipe. Yeah, I know. After my $16 roll ran out, I started using dried flushable scent-free baby wipes. They do the same thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, November 22, 2008

This review is from: Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets (Baby Product)
This is a great product. It makes cleaning up poop from the diaper an easy and mess free chore. Without these liners, using cloth diapers could turn out to be a real clean up job. I bought the flat cloth diapers so I can get my own fit for my son, then I laid out one strip of the Kushies liners. The liners come serrated, so you just need to tear each one along the line from the roll. However beware, the liners are not absorbent against pee, so you can not use these liners at night time, the pee soaks through the liners and the cloth diaper. I change my son right after he pees his diaper. I use one good brand disposable at night on my son, and this takes him through the night dry. However it holds poop very well, and when its time to change the diapers, you just pull the liner up, holding both ends of the liner to hold the poop in it, then toss it in the bin. It usually leaves his diaper stain free from the poop, and I don't need to handle it at all, just pull off the liner, toss it in the bin and that's it. Two liners on the diaper are much better then just one though. You can place the liners side by side on a laid out diaper, this better keeps the diaper from getting any poop on it from the sides of the liners. I definitely recommend this product, all in all its a great one, and I will be buying them again since I like using cloth and they do a great job when it comes to cleaning poop.

5.0 out of 5 stars These really can be washed!, October 23, 2008

I couldn't believe it when I read the first reviewer say she washed and reused these. I thought for sure, she was thinking of something else?
However, I tossed my wet liners (not soiled ones) into the washer with the rest of the diapers and, incredibly, they came out in great shape!
Aside from their amazing durability, these make cloth diapering so easy! No more wrestling poo off nappies with toilet paper! Yuck!

Well as my toddler eats more and more adult like food, his poop, is well, more adultlike. I felt that for myself, husband parents and baby sitters this might be a little less "gross" if we had something like a Kushie liner to help us out. For me I felt the paper was a little too rough on my son's sensitive bootie, it tore easily and was not wide enough to contain all of his poop. The positive side is that it did flush very nicely, I never had any issues with overflow or clogging like I did with the gDiapers paper liner. I am going to finish up my roll, especially when I'm not with him for the day but would like to try something else.

3.0 out of 5 stars They're ok, BUT..., August 21, 2010

They are pretty stiff, and at 8-9 cents apiece, they add a good chunk to your diaper cost. They work fine, and they do what they are supposed to do, but after a few rolls, I bought some of the ultra-soft ("cloth-like"), multi-size Viva paper towels. Tear off the smallest measure, fold each side in about an inch, and voila--a MUCH softer liner with better coverage at a fraction of the price! Don't waste your money on these.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Diaper Liner Yet, December 15, 2009

This diaper liner is basically thick toilet paper. So far I've tried the Bummis liners and though the type of material allows you to stretch out and reuse the liner - the Bumkins liners are the best. Same material as Bummis but bigger. And, the price for 100 sheets is the same for all three brands. Kushies is by far the worst.. It barely covers the diaper (especially toward the behind where I like to stretch for more coverage).. We're using it just to get rid of it right now so we can go back to the Bumkins liners.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rashy, August 5, 2010
This review is from: Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets (Baby Product)
While these are a great idea, they are really quite abrasive (pretty scratchy to the touch) compared to other brands of diaper liners. Also, they gave my poor baby his very first diaper rash (he is 13 months old) within the first 12 hours that I started using them. Liners are a handy tool but I would go with another brand.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but..., April 27, 2010
This review is from: Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets (Baby Product)
We happily used these liners for several months, until it struck me, Viva brand segmented papertowels are MUCH cheaper and are a great deal softer than these liners, while still being durable.

That said, The Kushies liners are durable, there is a rough side that faces the cloth diaper, keeping it in place, and a smooth side for baby's bottom.

5.0 out of 5 stars best I have found, August 17, 2008
This review is from: Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets (Baby Product)
These are the best diaper liners I have found. I cut them in half and wash the ones that do not need to be flushed. It makes them go much futher.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, poor quality, January 5, 2011
This review is from: Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners, 100 Sheets (Baby Product)
I purchased Kushies biodegradable diaper liners thinking it would be a good segway into cloth diapering (as in less mess to clean up). The Kushies diaper liner comes in a roll that looks like a roll of toilet paper. There is a perforated line between liners, making it easy to dispense. However, the actual liner is incredibly rough. My husband and I both used the words "like sandpaper" when describing it. Within two uses, our son had a pretty serious rash and was clearly uncomfortable. We immediately stopped use of the liners. I would not buy this product again nor would I recommend it to friends.
