If your going to use cloth, these are great. the extra padding holds up (and in) better,they don't wear thin in the wash and the prefolding is much easier to manage...especially when you have more than one bottom to change!

I used these as burp clothes, not diapers and they are sooo absorbent and soft that the baby fell asleep on them. They are also so durable that they have survived my twins and then passed on to two other children and four years later they are still being used.

I did a lot of research on products before my son was born, and read that someone used these for burp cloths. I added a set to our registry, and after we received it, we ordered another set because we liked them so much. They are soft, durable, absorbent, and come in great colors. We like these far better than another set of cloths specifically marketed to be burp pads that we had received as a gift.

Even though these are called "diapers," I would never use them that way. Instead, they really make the ideal burp cloth. They are incredibly soft and thick - I've never had a leak-through no matter how much drool or spit-up they caught. I keep one under my baby's head when she's in her bouncy seat and car seat to catch any drool - it cuts way down on the number of times I need to wash the seat covers. These cloths wash very well - they don't fade or fray, and they just keep getting softer with time. Buy a couple of sets!

Loved using these as burp cloths! They are most absorbant after being washed a few times, which is the same as most cloth diapers. I am tempted to use them as inserts for my pocket diapers, but I think I will save them for burp clothes to use again with #2!

I use disposable diapers but I got some of these as a shower gift. They make great birp cloths. They are very absorbent and they keep spit up from running down your shoulder. The prints are very cute also.
