This is a very good practice amp for a clean sound and with the two effects {re-verb,delay, they both sound like a re-verb to me) you can get a nice clean sound that borders on a tube sound even though this is a solid state amp. The lead side is another story. The vidio I saw where a young man was testing it out and explaining it in a langauge that I do not speak, was getting a prettu good lead sound with nice break up but he had to be running something else through it to get that sound because i have ried every conceivable option that comes on this amp and I just could not get the sound he did with just him addjusting the lead channel. I have a feeling this takes peddles very well so not too worried about the lead channels. With a good clean channel you can make it sound good with just a few stomp boxes. I was surprised at how loud this little guy gets. For 16 watts of power you think your playibg a bigger amp. For the money I spent you can't go wrong. I will take a DigiTech multi effects unit and make it sound like a mini marshall lol.

I use it as a practice amp for my arch top. Sounds good for jazz, just use the clean channel with a little reverb or delay. Portable, better than headphones for practicing.
