An excellent book by Mariam Joyce. Her well researched work is very informative. Ms. Joyce uses a wide variety of resources, including documents released by the United States and Britian. The use of all these resources and superb writing style make this book worth every penny. "Kuwait 1945-1996; an Anglo-American Perspective" is perfect for our day and age. It gives you a better understanding of the Middle East and why it affects us. From Kuwait, Egypt, and the threats from Iraq, this is a must have. After 9-11 it is important to learn about the Middle East and this is the Perfect Book to do so.
