I found this book extremely helpful. I haven't sewn in years and started back sewing ice skating costumes with spandex. Spandex can be difficult to work with if you don't know what you are doing. This book really helped me get up to speed quickly. I would recommend it for anyone who is sewing with spandex.

A good reference book for sewers who want to tackle swimsuits and exercise-wear. Clearly-drawn illustrations, well-written instructions and photos of models in the attire gives one an idea of how the final product looks like on a human form. Master patterns are included and suggestions on how to modify them offers up some inspiration. The book came well packaged i.e. shrink wrapped and backed with a cardboard to protect the book, which is soft cover.

This book is very helpful. It comes with an adjustable basic pattern and several design alterations. I'd buy it again.

I have been making costumes for over 15 years and have always avoided a leotard. I am confident that with these instructions that are very easy to follow I will have no problems in getting the perfect fit.

This book is a vey good specialty manual for swim and action wear. In this genre there seems to be specialties or areas of concentration. This book concentrates on the stretchier side of the field. A good book that adds to the other side of the equation. Glad I read it and added it to the library.

After spending hours looking through pattern books, online, and trying to draw something myself, I was excited but sceptical about this being what I wanted. It turned out that this was exactly what I was looking for. It shipped as stated.

Great resource. Patterns run a little on the large side but it only takes once to learn. Getting raves on first bathing suit and requests to start making for friends. Love the book, love the master patterns. What more can a woman who swims 3 times a week ask for.

I like this book. It is hard to find books on how to make swimsuits and leotards, but this one has lots of great information, and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. It comes with some good patterns too.

Though slightly dated this pattern book was a great find and is apparently used by several people who use the leotard designs as a basis for dancewear, skatewear, and ballgowns. I don't think I would go as far as attempting to make swim though!

After many years of driving myself crazy looking for leotards with high-cut legs, thank God I finally ran across this pattern! It's got anything and everything for all shapes and sizes, and the instructions are as clear as can be. The only stumbling block might be that it's printed on both sides of the paper and one has to do a bit of work to find which one will be good for whatever you want. I'm so grateful I'm giving it a 5!
