Excellent Form of Styptic!,

This review is from: Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder 1.5 Ounce (Misc.)
I have tried gels and other variations of Styptic. I have come back to the use of the old-fashioned powder form. The gels tend to fall-off of the nail and do not seem to stop the bleeding all that well. With this powder, the bleeding stops immediately. Just put a bit of the powder in the cap, or upon a piece of newspaper under the dogs paw, dip the nail into the powder, and Voila!, the bleeding stops. The powder thoroughly coats all cracks and crevices of the nail surface, adheres well, and stops the bleeding. I heartily recommend this styptic powder over other forms of styptic. It works!

Stops the bleed, but hurts..,
This review is from: Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder 1.5 Ounce (Misc.)
Whenever we accidentally cut our dogs quick, we use this to stop the bleeding. It works fast and great, but it hurts! I once had a cut that I got it onto right after I was cutting the dog's nails, and it burned quite a bit.

KwikStop is GREAT,

There may be the fancy steptic swabs around but the economy and ease of use of this simple powder and a simple Q-tip make it the best buy. The others are one use and out while this provides years of what one would use in most cases. Oh, and it works too.
