Good Dock Lines September 15, 2008

Kwik Tek PWCD-2 PWC Dock Lines With Snap Hooks 2 Pack is just what I needed. With the snap hooks it just like it says; it's a snap to connect the line to the boat.

Nothing to complain about. The hooks are really heavy-duty and do a great job holding the ski. My only complaint is that the hook isn't big enough to go through the bow eye on my PWC. It works fine for the tow hook on back, though. I just loop the line through the bow eye and then tie to the dock cleat with the hook end. That defeats the purpose of the big hook, but it works out all right. I suppose I could use the winch hook on the front, but it's up under the bow and would be hard to get to from the dock.

Also, I uploaded a pic to show the color of the lines. I feel it's more accurate than Amazon's pic. The color of the line is much lighter, but it certainly works fine for me.

Worth it ... Maybe! January 6, 2012

The best that can be said for these "dock lines" is that they're cheap and probably worth the price. But dock lines in the conventional sense, they are not. Compared with conventional dock lines ... even relatively cheap twisted three-ply nylon, these are stiff, short and don't hold well to an ordinary dock cleat unless you use them full length and use the end loop.

Great for the price
Very good product, however, the plastic snaps are a bit difficult to hold open and snap on a cleat. I would buy a rope with the more traditional metal snap next time.

Basic rope
Bought these to use on my jet ski. The plastic hook is too big to fit through the eye on the front of mine and my friends' PWC's. Read more

Great line but horrible hooks!
I use these to hook my Kayak to the dock. The plastic hooks are very hard to open and close. I cut them off and attached carabiners in their place. Now it works great! Read more

What it is supposed to be
Not too much to say about a rope and a plastic hook. The hook is sturdy and the rope is wound well. Perfoms as expected.
