4.0 out of 5 stars Good Dock Lines
Kwik Tek PWCD-2 PWC Dock Lines With Snap Hooks 2 Pack is just what I needed. With the snap hooks it just like it says; it's a snap to connect the line to the boat.

1.0 out of 5 stars Plastic Snap Hook Breaks
Both of the plastic snap hooks broke under very light use (Within two weeks of purchase). When the first one broke my wave runner floated away I was there and had to go in and get it. I would not recomend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Work fine, but lighter color than I was expecting., June 1, 2010

Nothing to complain about. The hooks are really heavy-duty and do a great job holding the ski. My only complaint is that the hook isn't big enough to go through the bow eye on my PWC. It works fine for the tow hook on back, though. I just loop the line through the bow eye and then tie to the dock cleat with the hook end. That defeats the purpose of the big hook, but it works out all right. I suppose I could use the winch hook on the front, but it's up under the bow and would be hard to get to from the dock.

Also, I uploaded a pic to show the color of the lines. I feel it's more accurate than Amazon's pic. The color of the line is much lighter, but it certainly works fine for me.

I had this type of pull rope on my kayaks but due to being in the sun for a few years it became bleached and brittle. The plastic clip also broke from the sun so I was very glad to be able to get more. At this price I don't mind replacing them every few years.

I have these for my 18' boat and they are nice. Just the right length for dock side. Put one on each transom tie cleat. Perfect!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sea doo quick Tie downs, October 5, 2010

Good tie down for when you are at the dock putting the Sea Doo in the water. The clip is plastic, it is hard to un-clip. The rope is very flexible but can fray. I did break the plastic when I needed to use it as a tow rope pulling in a broken jet ski. Overall, it's good for a quick tie to the dock when you need to go park the truck when your at the dock.

The rope tie downs are exactly what the doctor ordered. They are small enough to fit inside my cubbie hole on the ski and do the job well. Price not bad either , good value.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth it ... Maybe!, January 6, 2012

The best that can be said for these "dock lines" is that they're cheap and probably worth the price. But dock lines in the conventional sense, they are not. Compared with conventional dock lines ... even relatively cheap twisted three-ply nylon, these are stiff, short and don't hold well to an ordinary dock cleat unless you use them full length and use the end loop.

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic rope, January 3, 2012

Bought these to use on my jet ski. The plastic hook is too big to fit through the eye on the front of mine and my friends' PWC's. To get around this, I just loop the rope through and clip the rope. Not a big deal.

Not a good docking rope because it's so long, but it has various other uses. If you need a rope on your PWC (which you do), I recommend this cheap basic rope.

1.0 out of 5 stars CLIP TOO STIFF TO USE, December 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kwik Tek PWCD-2 PWC Dock Lines With Snap Hooks 2 Pack (Sports)
PURCHASED ITEM FOR MY WAVE RUNNER. THE PLASTIC CLIP IS TOO STIFF TO USE TO CLIP TO SKI RING AND RINGS ON THE STEERING BASE OR ANY SITUATION. WAS NOT DESIGNED TO CLIP ON TIGHTER SPOTS EITHER. AFTER PLACING CLIP ON SKI RING, A WAVE CAUSED THE PLASTIC PIECE TO BREAK. LUCKILY, I HAD A ROPE ON THE FRONT TIED TO THE DOCK OR THE RUNNER WOULD HAVE FLOATED INTO THE ROCKY BANK.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!!!!!
