The Card installed painlessly, and with no problems. The drivers took all of 3 minutes to install, and the most recent drivers were in the box!

The Beyond TV software from Snapstream that comes bundled with this card is phenomenal!
The software turns your PC into a very efficient, easy to use and very powerful DVR. - On Screen guide showing your channel lineup with show info and duration, recording is as simple as selecting the item and hitting record. You can even search for upcoming episodes of your favorite shows (family guy, myth busters and how it's made for me ;-) and select which ones you want to record.

Note: The software that comes with this card is licensed as OEM, meaning that most of the features are there, but if you want all features such as: Recording all new episodes of a show automatically, Compressing shows to fit your iPod or other Portable Video Device, Rewind, & Pause live TV, and recording in formats other than Windows Media, you will want to upgrade to the full commercial license.

The OEM license only shows 3 days of the interactive TV guide at a time. The full commercial version shows 2 weeks at a time.

My machine specs are:

Athlon X64 3000+
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe w/ nForce chipset
Ge Force 6800 256MB
1GB DDR2 RAM

I am including my machine specs so that you can be more confident about hardware conflicts... (of which I have had none) if you have a similar setup.

I do suggest spending the extra money on the full licence of Beyond TV after you setup the card, as this will enable you to record in MPEG2 or DIVX which both use less CPU than the Windows Media Encoder.

The copy I purchased of Kworlds ATSC 110 tuner came with a special copy of Snapstreams PVR software known as Beyond TV. Beyond TV is without a doubt THE BEST PVR software on the planet. The version that came with it requires a subscription to the TV guide feature, but if you are a current owner of version 3.x your existinging key will make this version 3.8 work without subscription and still retain TV guide. The Card dropped in and installed with little trouble. Snapstream 3.8 installed over 3.74 without issue. However it does require Windows xp SP2. If you don't have SP2 and Directx 9.0c it will stop you to install it. I connected a mediocre indoor antenna to it and it found 18 out of 20 stations, 10 of them were strong enough to auto add them to the list the other 8 weren't strong enough but would likely have worked with a better anntenna. The performance of the card under snapstream was disappoint under my hardware. amd 1.9 ghz, 512 meg ram, ata 100 drive 320 gigs. The playback cpu load was reasonable but the playback kept hickuping. The record function would produce corrupted files every time. If I can fix the problem I'll write back. All in all it was still work the money for the cheap entry into the ATSC realm. Oh, and there were no newer drivers or software available at the time of writting this but I think this card just came out.

My Kworld ATSC tuner works well, although can be a bit fiddly. But don't fall for KWorld's rebates - they invent tricks and unclear procedures to avoid paying up.
