This product is terrific! As far as I can tell, its the only one like it that doesn't have a spout or spigot or some other thing that looks like it might break off or get chewed. It is really just a simple plastic bottle (the size you get in a water bottle meant for biking) The top comes off so you can fill it with water and ice. There is also a pull out/push in thing on the top, so you can take a drink. And there is a little bowl on the bottom that screws off and you can pour the water out for Doggie. It fits nicely in places you might want to take a water bottle (your car, your bike) and it also fits well in the water bottle harness harness I already have.

One thing I like the best is that I don't have to carry separate bottles for me and the dog. The cup screws on the bottom of the bottle, and the drinking part is on the top, so even after the dog has a drink you can screw it back on and not feel like his spit is dripping on the part you put in your mouth. I have a small dog and I guess if you had a huge dog it might be a little small for him to fit his nose all the way in - the actual bowl part is about 3 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. It is fine for my dog (18 lbs.) and my parent's airedale terrier (60 lbs.) It is not insulated, but you can buy an insulated harness if you are that concerned. I just fill mine with water and a lot of ice and it keeps it pretty cool.

Its a nice concept I wanted something like this to hold in my bike water bottle holder but I lost the bowl part because it became loose after several uses. I will stick to a travel bowl.

It seems the manufacturer might have discontinued this water bottle because I have only been able to find it at discount stores/sites such as Marshalls and, obviously, Amazon. The sport top isn't the best but it still does the job of keeping both my pup and me hydrated on hot days. I actually keep one in both of our cars and in his travel bag, just in case.

This was a great idea. The water bottle indeed is useful, but the bottom doesn't screw onto the bottle as well as I would like, and can be easily taken of without having to unscrew it. The type of plastic the bottle is made of doesn't hold its form well, and gets worse over time...but the price is decent and the product is worth a try. Don't use this product daily.
