I was impressed with the build quality of this carrier. However, it is listed as capable of carrying a 20lb dog. I put my 10lb Yorkie boy in it and because of the way the front is angled looked to me to be cramped for him. I had to return it for this reason.

We had the hardest time finding a quality (but not mega-priced) stroller that would be comfortable to push. I am 5'8", hubby 5'11", so we aren't really tall, but all the strollers we found available in local stores had us taking mini-strides and hunching over to reach the stroller handle to push it. Even now I often walk to the side and push it with one hand, but it is very easy to steer so it is no problem. Our 11 lb. poodle loves it. We did put a folded towel in the bottom to make her just a bit taller when sitting since her eyes were even with the top of the riding compartment, but if she lies down she can see through the mesh easily. Her kneecaps slide to the sides of her back legs making it impossible for her to jump and also making her a slow walker (she doesn't have pain) so everyone appreciates the stroller for when a power walk is on the agenda. This is a very nice, well-made item which I would recommend to anyone who needs or just wants a stroller for their pup.

I bought this for my lazy boston terrier. She is 23 pounds. She just fits.I should have gotten the bigger size, but the price was within my budget. She fits, but she can only sit,she can't lie down. It was extremely easy to put together, we used within 5 minutes of getting it. It folds up nicely in my car, has great storage pocket, and a nifty sun visor.

Well-made stroller for small dogs,

This is a sturdy, well made stroller at a great price. Based on my satisfaction with the Outward Hound brand (I have a front carrier), it was an easy decision to buy this stroller for my 7 lb. toy poodle. Sometimes I take her to work with me, and she can lie down and comfortably sleep in it. If I need to run into a store, I just put a folded baby blanket over the top mesh, and let it hang all the way down on both sides. This covers the top and side mesh windows so nobody knows there's a dog in the stroller. That's another reason I wanted this stroller - because it was a non-descript dark blue - so I could discretely bring her anywhere with me without attracting attention.
It rolls, turns, and folds up easily. I keep it bungie'd to the back of the passenger seat in the car. This keeps it out of the way, yet accessable. I use a plastic 'S' hook to hang my purse from the sturdy handlebar. I was a bit apprehensive about being one of those crazy poodle ladies, but I got over it, and now I use the stroller almost every day. You'll love it! Update - this stroller is still going strong after more than a year. I use it several times a day when I'm out running errands. I'm constantly taking it in and out of the car, opening it, going into the bank or store, back to the car, fold it up - it's so easy and lightweight. For a while, I tried a slightly bigger stroller, but my dog still prefers this one - it's cozy, but plenty big enough for her to lie down or even sleep in.

Another Outstanding Product from OH,
By

The OH Walk 'n Roll ROCKS. The comfortably cushioned push bar is at the perfect height for me. It's roomy enough for my seven pound Yorkie to fully turn around while standing up. The wheels glide and turn smoothly. It has a zippered top so I don't have to worry about Otis jumping out, and there is a roll up shade in the front so that he can still look out the "window" if he is lying down. There is a tray for a water bottle, car keys, and cell phone, plus a nice sized net storage bag on the back. There is a removeable, padded cushion in the bottom. It took me only about 90 seconds to assemble (no tools!), and the mechanism for folding it up operates smoothly and quickly. This stroller is lightweight yet seems sturdily built. Otis is too short for his head to stick out over the top, but I find this to be a benefit because he can be safely zipped in and still have plenty of room. (I did not see anything to attach a leash or harness to inside the stroller though.) This is the fourth Outward Hound product I have purchased; I'm HIGHLY impressed and would recommend this to any small dog owner. (Heed the OH comment that it is only for non-aggressive pets under 20 pounds though.)

I bought this for my cat. It's the safest and most comfortable way to take you pet for a walk or any where. I use it to take my cats to the vet. They feel safe while being able to see what's going on around them. Also way easier on me, my guys are no light weights to be lugging around. I wouldn't be without it. It stears so easy and folds up when not in use. You won't be sorry for purchasing this.

Jaunts to Starbucks in the Walk 'n Roll Stroller,
This review is from: Kyjen Outward Hound Walk 'n Roll Pet Stroller, Navy Blue (Misc.)
My cat Wilson enjoys our daily jaunt to Starbucks for a bit of steamed half and half. He is an average size Persian Cat, 11.5 pounds, so the stroller is roomy enough for him, but would be cramped for one weighing closer to 20 pounds. My only complaint is that folding the stroller while also needing to raise the floor is slightly awkward. But the cup holder is nicely placed, and the pocket is ideal for stashing a newspaper or a book.

Unfortunately my pooch had a fall & was tired of carrying her;this did the job! Was fun strolling around like a newborn baby; my dog didn't like it much, but it did the job while she was convalescing...

My 8 lb. maltepoo had to have knee surgery so we ordered this stroller. It has been perfect! The size is great, the fabric is durable, the basket is close to the ground so she feels safe and familiar with that view, plus the drink caddy for me is very handy. There is clear mesh on sides and front so she can see around her. We can also zipper the top closed but she sometimes sits up and rest her head on the front. I am 5'4 and my stride doesn't hit the bottom bar. It is also very easy to clean. We are happy with this purchase.

I love this stroller! Dad and I bought this for my mom at least four or five years back for her birthday and it's still in great shape. My mom and I would push BOTH of our twin Himalayans in this stroller, and they fit, but they were a bit cramped. It's not very tall (cage wise) so it makes for a tight fit. When my mom moved out a few years back and we tried using it again for our two twins and three years later and at least 20 pounds later (each cat...) we can only get one cat to fit now :) I don't think the weight restriction has anything to do with it, it's just size.
I just frequently adopted a DMS kitten and he loves being outside! It's a wonder how I fit to full grown cats in this stroller, when I can barely fit my kitten into it now. It's great for on the go, and pups and kittens, just not great on size. |
