My opinion of this fast-paced, highly exciting teen book is quite contrary to the writer below. First off, it perfectly embodies both the spirit and the tone of Matt Dallas's character. Secondly, we get to learn more about the other characters. Let's face it--only so much content fits within a one-hour program. This is the equivalent of an extra episode of the show--what's not to love?!?!

With regard to the book itself, I'm 15 and I felt it was a perfect teen read. No, it won't win a Pulitzer, but that's not the intention :)

I LOOOOOOVE Kyle XY and can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. I hope the same author is signed on . . . S.G. Wilkins rocks!

I love the show Kyle XY. Matt Dallas is one of the most amazing breakout actors I have ever seen. The sincerity and honesty of the emotions he feels often bring tears to my eyes. In fact, Kyle XY is currently my favorite show by far and I couldn't wait to get the book. I was sadly disappointed in the quality of the writing. It was shallow, meaningless, there was very little, if any, suspense or excitement. The author saw fit to place stupid little bold clues in the middle of sentences that honestly didn't add anything as we already knew it all since Season 2 due to finish in a week or two. All they did was annoy and insult the intelligence of the reader. The author is not a fan and is probably writing the story because he or she is being paid to. It is a job and not a passion. While the portrayal of the characters in most places was accurate with regards to their emotional inflections and such, the story as a whole was boring and superficial and I found I could flip through to the end of the book by just scanning the pages and still keep easy track of the story.

What a complete waste of money. The author did the Series a great injustice and clearly didn't have a passion about the story.

Don't buy this book unless you are a clueless idiot who doesn't care about plot or suspense. With the large child-like print to obviously make it seem longer than it really is, it will be the dawn of a new age when I buy from this author again.

To all kyle xy fans , I have an advise
if you wanna be healthy, look at the back of the food box and see how much calories and to be a super healthy don't watch any thing from ABC family .

Dear ABC Family :
we will not buy the DVD , and i mean it ,, even if you but one more episode that's will be not enough for that great show ,, we are a fans and what we need you do to us ,, we all agree with a fourth final season of the show ,,, don't cut the show like this its not fear .

The book wasn't horrible, but its really not worth reading, either.
Plot was shallow, simply retreading on plot points from the first season 1, with a lame and cliched "be yourself" dress up plot, that seems more in line with a Saturday special or a generic, hack job teen drama than with Kyle Xy.
Nothing is added to the characters, or the story, nothing noteworthy happens, and all foost does is skulk around in the bushes and make vague threats.
If this was an episode of Kyle Xy.... it would have been rejected. But if it were somehow accepted, it would be the first pure filler episode.
Go read some fanfiction instead
