I recently took a trip to Romania and had a chance to pick up some CDs while I was over there. Akcent was among the bands I was looking for specifically, and I bought Primul Capitol (their newest; a greatest hits sort of thing) and S.O.S. The Romanian version of this song (Dragoste de închiriat) is on both, and I recommend it over the English "Kylie." I'm not fluent in Romanian, but I can piece enough together from Spanish cognates and whatnot that I can tell the translation isn't exact.

Maybe it's just the line "But I'd rather do you in the backseat of my car" that really turns me off.

Bottom line: If you can manage to get your hands on a REAL Akcent CD, do so. Primul Capitol has some great songs on it, INCLUDING Kylie (if, unlike me, you like it), remixes of Kylie, and Dragoste de închiriat.

Very good song, very catchy. I guess Akcent is a good band name, because he does have an accent that makes it all the better.

Wonderful dance song from the Romanian group that also had great songs such as Azi Plang Numai Eu, Ultima Vara, In Strada, Iar Aproape, and their latest Jokero. Great group to check out

I had heard this tune on C89.5 in Seattle, and instantly loved the catchy tune. This group from Romania will likely fall into "one hit wonder" territory, but I sure enjoyed this song!
