Great concert!,

This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
This DVD was great!
I love how Kylie puts on a great show AND sings live!! She's a great all-around performer! Even though I love the previous concert DVD "Fever 2002", I do like how in this one she does more audience interaction, like talking to them and really connecting with them. I thought that was cool. Here is what is on the DVD : Still Standing Red Blooded Woman On A Night Like This Breathe / Je T'aime After Dark Chocolate Can't Get You Out Of My Head Slow Obsession In Your Eyes Secret (Take You Home) Spinning Around Love At First Sight Bonus Features: Videos for "Slow," "Red Blooded Woman," and "Chocolate" Body Language Behind-The-Scenes Documentary Photo Gallery Wallpapers, Screen Savers and Weblink (PC-Rom) Multi-angle Screen Visuals for "Slow" and "Chocolate" ~~~ PICK UP THIS DVD!

Buy her.......BODY LANGUAGE DVD,

This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
Done as a one-off show in late 2003 in London, "BODY LANGUAGE LIVE" showcases material from Kylie's then-imminent "BODY LANGUAGE" album as well as hits from three other albums. Set into four distinct themes - "Paris By Night"; "Bardello" (a play on the name of Bardot); "Electro" and "On Yer Bike". Featuring fabulous costumes, beautiful stage projections and constant choreography (though, frustratingly, Kylie herself dances but little), Kylie's dedication to giving her audiences a good time is apparent here, as the effort that went into this show is usually reserved for major tours, not a one-time thing.
Kylie's vocals are clear, the energy from the audience fantastic and the back-up singers and band keep a steady rhythm. The only bad part of the show (besides Kylie's minimal dancing) is her back-up dancers - there are too many and several times throughout the show the dancers are visibly off-cue and out of sync with each other. Fortunately, this is the Kylie show and no-one was watching the dancers anyway. The DVD is attractively packaged back and front with a lovely black-and-white booklet full of candid images of the show. The DVD itself, besides transmitting a very-high quality print of the show, carries many goodies such as the videos for the "Body Language" singles, a backstage documentary and multi-angle visuals (showing the screen projections) for the performances of "Slow" and "Chocolate". Notable too is the beautiful disc menu presentation and the clever editing and direction of the show. This DVD is a must-have for the discerning Kylie fan and an enjoyable introduction into the wild world of Kylie for the new fans. Highly recommended.

Another excellent dvd from Kylie. Her team knows how to produce top quality dvd shows (both video and audio quality). Other dvd performers should take note and learn something.

An Extraordinary Performance,

This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
This DVD concert only reinforces my belief that Kylie Minogue is the world's greatest female pop entertainer. As good as her studio recordings are, listening to them is nothing compared to seeing her perform. Kylie's stage presence is utterly amazing. Her music is fun, spirited, and will make you want to get up and dance. Even the song "Can't Get You Out of My Head," that was so overplayed on top 40 radio, sounds fresh and new on this DVD. And even if you don't like all the music, just watching Kylie strut across the stage in those red, high heeled manolos is a treat in itself. My only complaint is that the music isn't more representative of her career as a whole. It focuses on her newer material. But if you have her Sydney, Australia and Manchester, England concert DVDs, this will complement them nicely.

1st of all, I just boucht the new Kylie's DVD and I have to say that the tracklisting that Reijo Piippula "Gravenimage" (Turku, Finland) says in another review isn't correct at all. The right and ordered tracklisting is:
Still Standing Red Blooded Woman On A Night Like This Breathe/Je T'Aime After Dark Chocolate Can't Get You Out Of My Head Slow Obsession In Your Eyes Secret (Take You Home) Spinning Around Love At First Sight Now, in the description of this DVD says that there's a multiangle option for Slow and Chocolate: In the 2nd angle of both of the songs, you don't see Kylie singing, you see what is being reproduced on the giant screen! The concert is totally cool, Kylie is really singing, not like Britney, and the way she appears on each song is awesome: she looks really sexier and comfortable. The coreography is great for the dancers, but if Kylie would have danced a little bit more it would be great and 6 stars. The Body Language Live documentary is really, really cool. It's the best part of the DVD after the concert, obviously. In the documentary, you can see Kylie talking about how the concert in London is going to be, you can see some photo shoots, the coreography, the guys filming the images which were projected on the giant screens, you can also see images during the making of the video Slow, and a very exciting part: you see Kylie right before the concert, and when she is being suspended on air to start the concert. Its box is like a CD box, but bigger, and in the cover, there's a little sticker which says the bonus features the DVD includes. There is only one thing I had some doubts: the people applause like they have prepared their applauses. I'm not saying they should have applaused less, but their applauses were kind of sinchronisyzed, and that mede me have some doubts. In the description of this DVD also says that includes PC-Rom features. That's fake: they're DVD-Rom features. You can't have them on a CD-Rom drive. This is a very good DVD and I really recommend it to you. You won't be dissapointed at all.

Like It Like That, Red Blooded Woman!,

After releasing two great DVD (Live in Machester and Live in Sydney) Kylie makes an live DVD in which there's no so much show stuff and there's no much songs either. She comes bravely with the new album before it isn't even released. "Still Standing" is a great opener...Kylie wants to tell that she's still standing (making great music and performing) and after that the great "Red Blooded Woman" which is definitely one of her best songs. There's much of great song and apart from "Breathe/ Je T'Aime" they are all from Kylie's latest three albums "Light Years", "Fever", and "Body Language". This concert has so much to offer for Kylie funs...she wears again many new clothes...beautiful clothes and makes new dance moves. Although this isn't as fabulous as the two ealier ones I think it is a must for all the music lovers, especially Kylie's music lovers. The best moments for the performances are "On a Night Like This", "Chocolate", "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "Secret (Take You Home)". Kylie looks still beautiful and sings better than ever.

The Body Language DVD is better than the CD!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
Kylie is a great performer who also sings live at the same time and not every artist does that... The DVD reached #3 on the music charts, where as the CD only reached #6, so the DVD was also more successful than the CD, not only better. There are so many special features on this DVD! If you loved the videos for Slow, Red Blooded Woman and Chocolate and also want to buy this instead of Ultimatekylie, then this is the place to look! There is also a Body Language: Live documentary which is worth watching, a Photo Gallery of Kylie through out the tour, Wallpapers, Screensavers and a Web-Link (PC-ROM), audio options and also Mutli-Angle screen visuals for hits Slow and Chocolate!
There are so many great performances on here and I loved the way she interacted with her audience more and talked to them alot more, than on her other tours. Just as Kylie puts it: "I feel a little love in the room... Is it my imagination??? No!!!" Pick up this DVD right now!

Yet another DVD hit for Kylie,
By
This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
This DVD is from the "Money Can't Buy" concert and it was certainly a concert that Kylie fans must have. This may be the only way that US fans get to see the new tracks be performed by Kylie unless she decides to tour here. Every song performed is sung beautifully by Kylie and the cheorography is fantastic. The documentry is great and having the videos for "Slow", Red Blooded Woman", and "Chocolate" is awesome since Americans don't really have a chance to see them on TV. If you like Kylie and don't have this DVD yet, what are you waiting for? Get it today!

Money Can't Buy,

This review is from: Kylie Minogue - Body Language Live (DVD)
This was a concert to promote Kylie's new album BODY LANGUAGE in Australia. It was called "Money Can't Buy", because only die hard fans could win tickets through television and radio. It's a nice intimate concert where she connects with her fans a lot. She sings a lot of her hits like "Breathe", "On A Night Like This", "Love At First Sight", "Spinning Around", "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" and "In Your Eyes". Most of the material is from her newest album BODY LANGUAGE. It's nice to hear these songs live! Favorites include "Chocolate", "Obsession", "After Dark", "Still Standing", and more. There are plenty of bonus features on the DVD including music videos for "Slow", "Chocolate" and "Red Blooded Woman"; a photo gallery; wallpapers, screen savers and a weblink; and multi-angle screen visuals for the "Slow" and "Chocolate" performances. A must have dvd for Kylie fans!
