How to ruin a fine product
on April 10, 2014
First of all, one sees a wide Kyocera slicer for $40 and for $24.Are they the same? The"cheaper" one has the same kind of handguard as the narrower Kyocera slicer, It is designed to stabilize by having lips that hold the handguard in position to the slicer. The $40 one's handguard (Black!Wow!)has no such provision and no way to stabilize its location on the slicer when slicing. Unfortunately, I tossed all the packaging, thinking that the wide was just that, "wider", otherwise, I would have returned it immediately.
