I have type II Vasculitis which causes me to naturally have a higher than normal blood pressure reading. Due to this I have hypertension headaches. Thanks to my Naturopath I use exercise (strengthens and thickens vascular walls) and elevated amounts of Vitamin C (for the collagen) I no longer need the Vasculitis medication (or it's side effects) but still had those high blood pressure headaches.

When I take this product those headaches are gone. My blood pressure only reduced from 190 to 180, but the headaches are gone. It took about 3 days to take effect and is part of my 'must have' daily regimen. As a control I stopped taking it and within 12 hours the headaches were back for me.

As a recent aside, Muscle and Fitness published that a study published in Phytomedicine stated that Olive Leaf extract (500mg twice daily) was as effective as a 12.5mg twice daily dose of Capotril. Both groups in the study experienced a similar drop in blood pressure. So that is going to be my next item to try since BP medicine is very hit or miss for those of us with Vasculitis.

I would give it 4 out of 5 stars since this product would be a 5 if they included Olive Leaf extract.

I noticed no difference in my blood pressure while using this, but in fairness I only used it for 3 months and my blood pressure was elevated to begin with. Perhaps I would have liked it more if my blood pressure was normal and I was using it to keep it that way. It seemed to be a quality product that you can use with confidence about its purity.
