The very first time I actually heard this song was actually on the radio in a Japanese take out restaurant early last year (2014) where I work at
and it was the chorus part that got my attention, it was a great vibe that the song seems to give off and then I was searching high and low on youtube to find the name of the band that sings this burning hot song. A year later after hearing part of this song for the first time, I finally stumbled upon it on youtube and discovered the name of the group & the song by clicking on random videos on youtube of classic 80's rock, and then downloaded the song from Amazon.com, I guess it was fate itself guiding me to the band & the song on youtube. The chorus to this song alone for some reason just seem to steel my heart and learning what the song really means(Lord have mercy in Greek) made me like better yet love the song even more.

"Kyrie" was the second single off of Mr. Mister's Welcome To The Real World and second to hit number one. Written essentially as a prayer, the song is much more uplifting musically than the downbeat "Broken Wings". It has a faux gospel style set over some synth horns. Bouncy and catchy, but not as complex as "Brokn Wings".

I saw Richard live with Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band, he sounds just like this today. This song was a number 1 hit and the vocals are sublime. A must have for any music lover.

It's a classic... this "carry a laser" song. (That's what I first thought they were saying back in the day, and I would wonder why do you need a laser on a date?)
