The Kyser Classical capo was the first quality capo I ever purchased. It lasted me over a year, until the long metal extension of the spring suddenly snapped. I purchased another one, (I couldn't find my warranty card. They used to offer a lifetime warranty but later reduced it to a year.) and haven't had the same experience with it. My original one was generally very sturdy, but after only a month or two, the newer revision doesn't hold the strings nearly as well. I now get a lot of rattle. Because of this apparent change in design, I'm in the market for a new capo.

There's nothing new to be said about Kyser Capos. But Amazon really should have this product listed as a CLASSICAL capo, not a "classic" capo. If you order this item, you will receive a flat (i.e. unradiused) Kyser Quick-Change Capo *for CLASSICAL guitar.* If you want one for a regular steel-stringed acoustic, order the item listed as "Kyser 6-String Capo." Avoid the mistake I made! :-)

While I knew that when I started playing again I would need a capo. When I was younger, this would not be an issue, however since my arthritis that has taken over and made simple tasks difficult.

I have no problems with this capo and my hand what so ever. The capo is very, very easy to move and take off without feeling like there is too much pressure or pain.

This might not sound important to a lot of you, but it can be to many of us. So if you have trouble with your hands, you may want to check this out.

After I have had it a little longer, I will probably make another review. I may even include a small video of me being able to easily use the capo.

When I bought my Ibanez Gio guitar, I wanted to buy a capo to go with it. I looked around and this one seemed to be the most affordable and durable for what I wanted to spend. Fast-forward 8 years later, I still have it, still use it, and it still holds the strings tightly to the fretboard! I'd recommend this to any entry level guitarist who doesn't want to break the bank for a capo.

One of the first purchases I made to go with my new classical guitar was the Kyser capo. Like all capos, it provides a solid bar across the full set of strings. I found the Kyser capo very easy to use, and very solid once it was put into place. It holds down the strings fully without any buzz or issue.

I have had my Kyser for several months and have not had any problems with it at all. I will update my review if I end up someday having issues with it, but it seems to be quite durable and solid.

Kyser makes the best capos - easy to put on and take off - and they hold where you put them.

On my Ibanez acoustic, it only properly frets 5 of the 6 strings. Depending how I set it, either the low E or the high e would buzz obnoxiously. I returned it for a Dunlop, which works beautifully.
