2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Soles
I bought these slippers for my husband at Christmas time. I thought if I

spent $50 on slippers they would last a long time, and be made very well.

I was wrong. The slippers look good, and the upper leather is very nice

but the sole is a cheap, thin foam. If you bend it, it snaps. You would

expect to find this on a cheap, $2...

I was wrong. The slippers look good, and the upper leather is very nice

but the sole is a cheap, thin foam. If you bend it, it snaps. You would

expect to find this on a cheap, $2 flip flop. I was very disappointed. I bought my husband a cheap $2 pair of suede slippers in Walmart that were just as nice with a thick rubber sole.

1.0 out of 5 stars NO LONGER MADE IN THE USA...NOW MADE IN CHINA, November 26, 2009
I had bought several pairs of Evans Deer Slippers over a dozen years. They were made in the USA and wore real nice. This last pair I bought for $75 started falling apart after 6 mos. The piping became delaminated showing an ugly dark grey woven chord. The fluffy inside wore out even sooner, flattening out to nothing after a while. The rubber sole started coming unglued and cracked. Very disappointed at the quality control and I will not buy Evans anymore until they are made in the USA again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality Decline, June 19, 2008
I have bought this slipper for several years. This newest one has started to flake off the brown surface coating of the leather piping.

4.0 out of 5 stars soft and comfy, July 28, 2011
A good-looking, comfortable slipper. My only reservation is that the size 12 I ordered was a tiny bit smaller than a 12 usually is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Slippers, February 27, 2009
My husband has worn these slippers for many years. He loves them and we have never found any we have liked better. We continue to reorder them every year or two. The are very comfortable and the soles allows one to run out to the mailbox to retrieve the mail.

1.0 out of 5 stars Damaged slippers received and returned, February 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was to be my third new pair in less than three years. Previous pairs arrived in new condition.
The latest purchase arrived in damaged condition. I would call them "seconds."
I returned them for a full refund.
I was very disappointed because I hoped to own perfectly new slippers at a good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soft and Cuddly, April 10, 2007
My husband loves these slippers. They are just like the ones he bought years ago in Brooks Brothers at 1/2 the price.

They are one of the few models remaining that have the "faux fur" lining for warmth. They are as advertized.
