5.0 out of 5 stars slipper review
Delivery perfect. Great slipper, although they run a little small, so you may want to keep that in mind when ordering.

1.0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk!
I purchased a pair of LB Evans Duke Opera slippers and wore them only inside on carpeted floors. Within six weeks after purchase, the heels of both slippers were totally frayed. In addition, the rear seam has separated.

I then contacted the LB Evans company directly, and they essentially said "too bad!"

I then contacted the LB Evans company directly, and they essentially said "too bad!"

I've paid $10 for slippers that lasted 3-4 years. I certainly had no idea that in spending over 4 times as much that I would be lucky to see even 4 MONTHS of use.

A LOUSY product from a company who won't back up their claims!

1.0 out of 5 stars CHEAP in everything but price!!!!, December 29, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Bought these slippers in October and by the end of November the side of the left slipper came unglued. About a month and a half of light use did this slipper in. Don't buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars L.B. Evans Men's Duke Opera Slipper,Burgundy, January 18, 2007
Though described as Burgundy, which is one reason why I bought it, it is not, it is brown. Leather is medium soft, though slipper is comfortable.

Sizing is good. Good slippers for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied Customer, October 24, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I always buy these slippers for my husband for Christmas and his birthday. He goes through 2 pair a year. I checked everywhere online for price, and Amazon's was competitive. Since it's easier to shop at Amazon, I bought here ... Slippers arrived exactly as expected very quickly. Kudos to all ..

5.0 out of 5 stars Men's house slippers, July 7, 2007

These were purchased for my husband because they are hard to find in the stores except for Christmas holidays. They are very nice and comfortable slippers--just like he likes--and he's happy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Review of L.B. Evans Slippers -- Duke Opera, November 4, 2006
The slippers are basically comfortable except for 2 aspects of them.

1. The Evans label, being right under where my heel fits causes some discomfort when the slippers are put on.

2. Depending on the weather, the soul of my foot sticks, at times, to the inside of the slipper. This is an annoyance when removing the slipper.

Also, the heel is beginning to wear, which I don't think should happen after such a short time of use.

Slippers well made and as described on Amazon. Replacing slippers for a ninety-six year old man. He was delighted with the new ones.

My husband is very pleased with his L.B. slippers. He reports that they are very comfotable and the leather is nice and soft. As usual they arrived in a few days from Amazon.com.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice Fit and Style, Mediocre Quality, May 8, 2011
Comfortable, light and enjoyable to wear. Despite wearing in carpeted rooms the slipper disintegrated quickly compared to what I expected from such a pricey item. Leather started to tear at the flex point at the center seam within weeks. Seams split around sole a few months afterward. I've read of LB Evans slippers lasting years. Not this model. LB Evans fit and style, Chinese knock-off quality.
