Highly original stuff!!,

Yes, I agree, this album is unlike many of Ferry's trance remix albums. One can discern some trance influences on this album (as in "Galaxia"), but overall, the album has a clean, mildly agressive sound. It's even bombastic at times.
I had to get used to the sound, since many sounds seem to be coming out of old Atari or Commodore-64 computers. The use of effects, such as reverb or echo is minimal, as is the spaciousness that is so characteristic of many trance songs. The melodies are simple but haunting. All in all, I simply LOVE this album for its originality! Ferry Corsten has succeeding in creating something that is not mainstream and that has a definite retro-feel, like good old synthi-pop (though with some more massive beats). Just listen to "L.E.F.", which is a gem, as is the back-in-time pop song "Forever" (with definite hit potential). Or take "Into the Dark" and the most trance-like song of the album "Galaxia". More experimental are "Watch Out" (the worst song on the album, in my opinion) and "Cubikated" (with Prodigy-influences). Definitely not the average trance stuff - so if you're into Ferry's more trance stuff, take a listen to this album before buying, since this is different stuff. As I said, I had to get to listen a couple of times to the album to appreciate it. To me this once again proves that Ferry is a great electronic producer who still developing his style and is not afraid to experiment!

I dont know what the other bad reviews are all about but Corsten brings a great mix of songs on this cd. Just because its not the way Corsten used to be or what you think he needs to be like doesnt mean it sucks. Dont be so closed minded.

I love this album, Ferry covers a wide range of different styles within electronic music, moving from downtempo to breakbeats, into progressive trance and bumping near-house. Favorites are "L.E.F.", "Fire", and "Forever" on the uptempo side and "Down on Love" and "Into the Dark" for a little more laid back grooves.
