Highly original stuff!!,

Yes, I agree, this album is unlike many of Ferry's trance remix albums. One can discern some trance influences on this album (as in "Galaxia"), but overall, the album has a clean, mildly agressive sound. It's even bombastic at times.
I had to get used to the sound, since many sounds seem to be coming out of old Atari or Commodore-64 computers. The use of effects, such as reverb or echo is minimal, as is the spaciousness that is so characteristic of many trance songs. The melodies are simple but haunting. All in all, I simply LOVE this album for its originality! Ferry Corsten has succeeding in creating something that is not mainstream and that has a definite retro-feel, like good old synthi-pop (though with some more massive beats). Just listen to "L.E.F.", which is a gem, as is the back-in-time pop song "Forever" (with definite hit potential). Or take "Into the Dark" and the most trance-like song of the album "Galaxia". More experimental are "Watch Out" (the worst song on the album, in my opinion) and "Cubikated" (with Prodigy-influences). Definitely not the average trance stuff - so if you're into Ferry's more trance stuff, take a listen to this album before buying, since this is different stuff. As I said, I had to get to listen a couple of times to the album to appreciate it. To me this once again proves that Ferry is a great electronic producer who still developing his style and is not afraid to experiment!

I dont know what the other bad reviews are all about but Corsten brings a great mix of songs on this cd. Just because its not the way Corsten used to be or what you think he needs to be like doesnt mean it sucks. Dont be so closed minded.

I love this album, Ferry covers a wide range of different styles within electronic music, moving from downtempo to breakbeats, into progressive trance and bumping near-house. Favorites are "L.E.F.", "Fire", and "Forever" on the uptempo side and "Down on Love" and "Into the Dark" for a little more laid back grooves.

Ok, I agree, Galaxia is a great song. One of my all time trance favorites. But it's not new... It's been around for SIX YEARS. (Originally made by Ferry under the alias Moonman)
I appreciate the fact that now it's more widely available, but I would've rather bought a single with the original version and the rework. Without Galaxia, it would still be an ok album, (but just that) being held by "Forever", "Are You Ready", "Fire", and "Junk".

Not as good as his first album,

While the music on this album does distinctly sound like Ferry Corsten's, it doesn't meet the quality that his first album had. The first few tracks, which are my favorite, don't really seem to go anywhere, i.e. you have reached the peak of the song in the first thirty seconds. As the album progresses, the songs get worse and worse. Corsten starts leaning towards more sample based music in the last part of the CD, and many of the samples are ones I have heard before from other musicians such as Chemical Brothers or the Prodigy. Despite all that though, it's still an okay album, and if you really love Ferry Corsten, you will still probably enjoy this album at least a little bit.

This album will get you moving (great to work out to). It's very hard electronic/house with vocals in almost every song! You will not regret buying this especially if you LOVE Ferry Corsten!

I like music by Darude, Daft Punk, and Benny Benassi and was looking to expand and find new artists. This is a great CD and Ferry Corsten is an amazing artists; I would say realted mostly to that of Darude (Artist behind Sandstorm, Feal the Beat in case you didn't know). Take a listen on Amazon before you buy just to make sure, or check YouTube, a few of his songs have music videos too (Fire, Junk).

Ferry has some great vocal trance tracks that are reminiscent of 80's beats and somewhat dissonant. For those who are looking for something very trance-y, I wouldn't recommend this because it is geared towards a wider audience and is more like pop trance (similar to Oakenfold's CD "A Lively Mind"). If you like vocal trance though, this is an absolute must.

This is some cool stuff. I've been listening to this disc for about 8 days straight now. It keeps going strong, like that pink bunny. This guy is metal. Love the album cover to. You would have to be pure metal to pose like that.

Easily the best CD I have purchased in some time. Corsten takes the Electro vibe and pumps some house beats into it. Right on par with Oakey's and Sasha's original works.
