Atahualpa Yupanqui is without a doubt one the best and most respected authors/singers of South America. From his native Argentina he sang about the world and the customs of the simple hard working gauchos and through his song he united many Latin American peoples.

This collection of Atahualpa's extensive work, spanning many decades, is one the more complete that I have found and it includes "El Payador Perseguido" one of his best and very difficult to find.
