I tried it and boy, was it a looser. One of the absolute worst racing games I have tried. Totally not realistic. Lousy graphics, lousy controls, really just a kids game, for ages 5-10 years old.

this is a pretty tight little game for an unlicensed budget racer... it's no Need For Speed Carbon or Juiced or L.A. Rush, but it's not bad at all for only $20...

the graphics are far better than I expected them to be, and the music is a steadily rockin mix of styles that fit the atmosphere very well... and you can add your own tracks to the playlist, if none of it suits your own tastes too...

the physics and AI are no slouches either... driving the cars well enough to win races takes some real effort and practice to be able to win consistently...

so if you're looking for a good street racer to hold you over until Juiced 2 comes out later this year, you prolly won't miss the $20 you spent on LASR...

just thought I'd share my thoughts on it with everyone here, since there isn't alot of information out there about this one, and it's not being hyped alot...

I pickee this up in a store for only $9.99 and didn't have very high expectations. I was really surprised to find this was a very good racing game. It took me a while to get the steering set up but now I'm having a blast with it. The only negative is the lack of a good user manual but it doesn't take long to figure out what you need to do. The racing is a lot of fun and if you do well you get rewarded with upgardes for your car that can make it faster and handle better which in turn helps you to win more and more races. For $9.99 you can't go wrong. - K01S
