i have had every brand of amp from $50 to $200 and these american legacy work just as good or better and they never break... of course i only turn them up 1/4 of the way but if all you have is a couple of 12" and a good cd deck like a sony xplode with super fm tuner... its all you need. your cd deck reciever gets 120 watts to your 4 in car speakers and this thing adds the puch... well worth it in any car makes your car fun to drive. why speed and risk a ticket when you can have music that sounds better than a concert!!! chill and drive!
