5.0 out of 5 stars works like its supposed to
i recently purchased this wireless keyboard and mouse at the thankgiving sales and i have to say, it works exactly like it says it will.

I have had the keyboard and mouse (both use 2 AA batteries included) for about a month now and so far, no hickups, no missed keystrokes, no jerky mouse, nothing. this thing is flawless.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than some - but also better options out there now!
I bought this over a year ago, after comparing several cordless options and their reviews. Overall, it was relatively easy to hook up - though not as easy as some that are currently available.

I bought this over a year ago, after comparing several cordless options and their reviews. Overall, it was relatively easy to hook up - though not as easy as some that are currently available.

This one does allow hook up to a PS2 connection for older computers. (In "non-geek-speak", that means it connects with little round-ended plugs with green and purple plugs - check compatibility before ordering!).

As the first wireles keyboard/mouse I owned, the keyboard "had me at hook-up". The mouse was an entirely different tale --- it just responded very poorly. (You won't win any games using it, that's for sure), so I ended up going back to one of my old "corded-Version" mouses (or is that mice??), until I purchased a Logitech MX600 Laser Cordless Mouse. (Talk about easy set-up, on that one just plug the provided USB connector in an open slot, and it recognizes the hardware!)

The keyboard (after providing very good basic service) recently died in a battle with a spilt bottle of water. This proved to be fortunate. I've since bought the Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 (967561-0403) for less than this combo (even with a guarantee against accidental fights with water), and both the mouse and keyboard work FAR BETTER than this one.

My newer versions have far better software that allows even the most non-techy person to tailor buttons to meet their needs. And, I'm sure for the price there are better options to fit your needs.

BOTTOM LINE: Not your best option for the price. Make sure you compare others and compatibily to your system first.

i recently purchased this wireless keyboard and mouse at the thankgiving sales and i have to say, it works exactly like it says it will.

I have had the keyboard and mouse (both use 2 AA batteries included) for about a month now and so far, no hickups, no missed keystrokes, no jerky mouse, nothing. this thing is flawless.
Plus, the added media buttons on the top of the keyboard come pre-programmed but you can re-program them in under 20 seconds.
I beleve the range on it is up to 25 feet and the furthest i have tried is from about ~12feet away and it worked like a charm.

The keyboard and mouse are both kinda rectangular (nothing great in aesthetic appeal) but the mouse still fits snugly in your hand and if you want, you can always add a gel pad for your keyboard.

When you first check out the mouse, it feels pretty light, but once you put the 2 AA batteries in, you can really feel the weight. Its still only like ~.4 ounces but the batteriesare the ones that add the weight to it.

I paid $10 for this baby on black friday and im very satisfied with it.
This is simple, yet still with a good amount of features, and it does the job Right. Something not many other wireless devices can stand up to.

4.0 out of 5 stars Item was dated but supplier was great!, September 16, 2011

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Unfortunately, I did not realize this wireless keyboard and mouse had PS-2 plugs only when I needed a USB connection. However, a couple of dollars more and I was able to order adapters. I am waiting for them to arrive now. However, this supplier was excellent. He responded to me immediately and suggested the adapters and a source to get them cheaply. With emails going back and forth I felt he was a friend by the time we stopped emailing.
