SCARY,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
This is a scary book. It's all spiritual warfare. It really shows how man brings about his own destruction through obediance to evil. Nuclear war and earth shifts. How God uses his lambs and angels to destroy wickedness. Very trippy and prophetic. Kept me going till the end, especially with what's going on.

LAMB IS ANYTHING BUT,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
Anything but meek and mild, Lamb is gritty and real the way too few Christian novelsare, and it makes them look like the puffery they are. Read Lamb, but be prepared. It won't be a calming read. Lamb is touching a live 50,000 volt line. All you can do is hang on...and pray.

Exposeing the enemy,the church.,
By Kevin Couch (Charlotte,N.C. U.S.A.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
This book is as cutting edge as it gets.It shows how so many in the church today are just playing church. An exposes the enemy in the church today,an the satanic forces whose ultimate goal is to kill every christian on earth during the rein of the Anti-Christ.So that Jesus will not have a bride to return to.This is a wake up call.A sounding of the alarm to all who have an ear to hear. The church an all it's denominations today are more concerned about being politically correct than walking the walk. All they care about is their rituals, traditions,an relgion. Not about a relationship with JESUS.They only care about a performance. Not the presence of the Holy Ghost. They only care about their place on the board,or the band.An not the lost an the needy. This is a book for the remnant. An to wake up an ... off those who have strayed away from course,an followed themselves instead of their savior. Those who profess to be men an women of God,but are actually worshiping themselves an their ego. This book tells me to come to the end of myself,an let it all be about Jesus. To let my ego die,so Jesus can live in me.An then I can serve him an save souls for the eternal kingdom. This should be mandatory reading for every church except the thin skinned who will of course take offense. They can be bitter, or better. It's their choice. The truth really does hurt. And it will also set you free....

What is the truth?,
By just a girl (somewhere mysterious......) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
If you believe the bible, the world does not like, and cannot accept, The Truth, plain and simple. Jesus is not of the world, just as His followers are not. Truth is persecuted. That's why for example, the world has really taken in "The Passion of the Christ". Number one in the box office, so much $$$$$$. It came from the world through Hollywood. It has some lies mixed in ("The Dolorous Passion of the Christ"- the movie's main motivation- totally unbiblical- check out Rev. 22:18) yet it is proclaimed as gospel truth. It is not from God. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? If you are a true seeker of Jesus Christ, you know that He is alive. You know that He will be returning in a time of great deceit. This book, Lamb, portrays this exactly, and is filled with the truth of God's love of the "little man"- the meek, the mournful, - the last shall be first. Not worthy, never perfect, but forgiven. The ones who will suffer persecution, the same as their Lord. The ones who will not be deceived. The ones who come out of the Lie. Let go of the world. Fully trust the Saviour. The ones who truly know that they are forgiven, and as the parable of the creditor tells us, those who have had more forgiven will love Him more. It is a story, a parable if you will. Not proclaimed as truth, as other big, worldy man-made productions dare to claim. No one has it right, not one is righteous. But some have more love than others. And some stand out and DIVIDE, as Jesus said His truth will do. This story is an outpouring of love from one who seeks to reach the lost, for the very reason that Jesus reaches out to us- to bring us out of this evil world through His forgiveness and into the kingdom of God. That is where we really are when we give ourselves to Him. Reading Lamb was quite encouraging, and is a humble labor of love. Highly recommended.

A Cult By A Different Name,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
Lamb is a book about a cult. But with a twist. The cult is anyone who is a loser in the world system is a true Christian. This is the premise of this book. But this is NOT Christianity! A Christian may be a loser by the world's standards, but not every worldly loser is a Christian. Check it out in this book, find the pattern here. The character of Casey is totally new age. Angels born as humans, but don't know it until they reach a certain age then bring judgement on the world? Where in the Bible is this taught? There are so many things like this, I would run out of room here reviewing them. Not every church in the USA is run by satanists, but after you finish reading Lamb, you will think so! If you took Lamb seriously, you would be a heretic. Lamb is an interesting story, but so are many of the new age novels out there. Lamb should be listed as a new age story, and then I would write a review saying it was a very good new age story, except that as a Christian, I find little interest in that kind of book. I read Lamb because I thought it was Christian.True Biblical Christianity is a difficult, narrow way to follow. It is day to day, moment by moment giving yourself to Jesus Christ. Letting Him be Lord. Jesus doesn't need our eyes to look through as the book Lamb implies. He is able to see all just fine. If you want simple entertainment, Lamb will entertain you. If you want something to enhance your Christianity, Lamb will quite likely lead you astray, into the cult of thinking that if you can't hold a job, or can't cut it in politics, or as a Hollywood writer, that automatically makes you a Christian. What about following the narrow path that Jesus said was necessary? According to Lamb, all you have to do is not be able to function in life. Again, this is not Biblical

AT LAST: A CHRISTIAN NOVEL WITH SOME STOPPING POWER,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
Great read. This would make an awesome movie. The characters are real people, not pablum. God raises up the meek, the unlikely, and the poor to do His Will--angels exact God's judgment against a hateful, evil world. The characters are simply unforgettable. Each very different, as the author weaves a story of hope in God and not in man. Real angels, not fairies. The only book I've read that exposes satanism for what it really is and puts all hope in God's victory. The lambs are like David to Goliath, the little guys win! You really root for them. Excellent.

A MUST READ,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
I have read LAMB several times and the story is one that sticks with me, and continues to comfort and inspire. I love the authority with which the author exposes and condemns the evil and clearly upholds the meek and God fearing, whether they be rejected in society or functioning within a world which continues to startle them until they hear the call of the Lord.I think this book can be helpful to many lost on all spectrums, from the highest to the lowest, showing God's merciful love and His protection of His own and also informing many lost what they are connected with if they do not serve the Living God, and also that they too can turn to the Lord for forgiveness and salvation, and escape the wrath of judgement. The story has such delightful good guys and such despicable bad guys, that you absolutely love the victorious overcoming by the "lambs". The actual style of the writer is very refreshing in it's depth and poetry, treating all manner of spiritual insights with great dexterity and insight. I hope that the author writes a followup, such as LAMB II or something, the further adventures of our remnant. A must read, this one will hopefully wake up alot of the fence sitters. I'm sure that Satan hates this book, and the fact that it is published...it shows how evil evil is, and it also shows how impotent the evil is against God's sovereign plan.

The Truth Be Told,
By Kathleen Iris "mandkjueng" (Michigan USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
I have this book and have read it! Enjoyed it very much! It is inciteful and really brings the truth of the enemies tactics to the forefront. God says in His word that we are to study the scriptures and not just rely on what we are told from the pulpit or media. This book really made me want to study Gods word more diligently.

Certainly Not Christian,
By A Customer
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
Sad, sad book. I feel like I wasted my time reading it, and certainly my money buying it. I am very interested in Bible prophecy and thought this is what I would be reading about with this book Lamb. But instead I was ripped off by heretical garbage. I wonder if I could get some of my money back by selling it used?

Lamb Equals Yawns,
By Shannon Jennings (Grants Pass, OR) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LAMB (Paperback)
I had heard about Lamb and thought it would be a really different Christian book. But it was nothing but judgmental tripe. A conspiracy theory expanded into one very long yawn of a book. Nothing new here. Just the same old leftist jargon, mixed in with some newage tripe. Why do all these new age authors come out with books they call "radical" Christianity when it isn't even sound Biblical Christianity? Why not call your book a new age book as it should be called? I would rather read anything by Hal Lindsay any day of the week, even if he does run a church, than this judgmental work. At least Hal sticks to the Bible and gives us a true perspective on the fascinating subject of Bible prophecy.
