5.0 out of 5 stars excellent
I am not a real horror person, but I got sucked into the twistng plot that went on for 6 wonderful books.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad at the first and middle part
But the end really make me disappointed and the other vampire and FBI Joel seem has nothing to do boring.

4.0 out of 5 stars This was really good, but..., July 18, 1998

I have read almost every Pike book, even the really strange ones (that seem to have become more and more available in the last couple of years), and I think he's a wonderful author. I adored all of the Last Vampire books, especially this one.

However, didn't anyone else get depressed at the end...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story., June 23, 1998

I really enjoyed this book. I was cheering for Alisa when she fought with Eddie Fender. I cried when she lost Ray. Alisa's yearning to become human is sad and haunitng. At the end of this book she is a scared and vulnerable human. I can't wait to see what happens next.

The storyline with all the flashbacks was great! The first person p.o.v. was just icing on the cake. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and all the other books in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Christopher Pike Book, July 17, 1997
By A Customer
I think this was the best of all of the Christopher Pike books. I got into more than the first two books. I have read it over and over so many times

5.0 out of 5 stars Heart-touching and exciting, June 13, 1996
By A Customer
The quality of the book is many times better than the first two, in every possible way. The story of Arturo is sad and depressing, yet it is exciting when she finds out he is still alive. I never would have known that a book as bloddy as so would cause me to shed tears at the end. I would have never blieved that Sita would change herself back to a human after all that time, yet I was happy for her. I have read #4 and I am very pleased with her decision. I cannot wait for the next two

4.0 out of 5 stars She promised she'd stop this, March 5, 2003
The 3rd book of the series. Her boy toy is dead, so she finds a new boy toy and of course turns him into a vampire, breaking her promise yet again to stop making vampires. Typical woman, can't keep a promise to a long dead God on Earth.
