5.0 out of 5 stars best footscrub
I used to use a foot scrub from the body shop that was good but this is the best thing on the market. I am a runner and my feet are in good shape but get calloused sometimes and this is a remove dead skin. I love it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Works well but dissappointing amount of parabenes
I purchased this product because it is the closest match to a foot scrub that Body Shop used to make. Body Shop products were known for their "natural" composition. Although their claims were later found to be bogus on many levels -- underscoring the difficulty of knowing what you are buying in spite of slick marketing -- if you watch what you put in and on your body, you...

I don't think you can ever go wrong with a LATHER product--at least I haven't yet. Awesome smell and highly effective at smoothing rough skin on feet. I use this regularly with the bamboo lemongrass foaming body scrub. Highly recommend.

I purchased this product because it is the closest match to a foot scrub that Body Shop used to make. Body Shop products were known for their "natural" composition. Although their claims were later found to be bogus on many levels -- underscoring the difficulty of knowing what you are buying in spite of slick marketing -- if you watch what you put in and on your body, you may be concerned with the parabene content of your cosmetics and hygiene products. Per the FDA, parabenes are "preservatives that may be used in cosmetics to protect them against microbial growth, both to protect consumers and to maintain product integrity." The ones you see most are methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben. Parabenes have estrogen-like qualities, and there is concern that they operate like estrogens in our bodies (contributing to breast and other cancers). No direct link has been established, but I don't want them in or on me, and so do make purchase decisions based on their presence in products. I would therefore not recommend this product.
