5.0 out of 5 stars Unique and Addictive
After hearing "I'll Fly with You" on the radio and reading other reviews I bought this CD. I was a little hesitant because of so many other DJ-mixed or compliation-like CDs with only one or two great dance songs and a bunch of other teeny-bopper pop, sappy love songs or bad rap, but I bought it anyway with high hopes. I was NOT disapointed. Every song is like...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not D'Agostino's best.
I owe Gigi D'Agostino a lot. He was the first artist that I discovered and really got me into techno. That was about 5 years ago. And in those five years, I still think he's the best DJ/artist out there. Original sound, crisp lyrics. I've bought every D'Agostino album/compilation he's released including this one. Unfortunately, this is not his best...

Every song is like the popular catchy singles you hear on the radio. You know, the ones that come out of nowhere and have the techno/synthesized edge to it, but the pop stations play it anyway. Put them all together and this is a great album. Where did this guy come form and why have I not heard of him until now. If i worked out this would be the perfect work-out album. I play it in the office at work and it keeps me energized for the whole day, plus there isn't any profanity to interrupt any important phone calls. My co-workers like it too. This is by far the best impulse buy I've ever made with a CD. I hope yo ulike ti as much as I did.

I am a huge dance techno-music fan. And Gigi's music and voice make me feel like pouring my heart out. On the dance floor. Try hearing this music on open air. Like an outside party. and feel your heart openning to everyone around you. We dont have many male dance techno singers out there. So Gigi you are a treasure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, catchy album to dance to, August 23, 2001
By
This review is from: L'Amour Toujours (Audio CD)
I was already familiar with Gigi D'Argostino with an edited version of "I'll Fly With You (L'Amour Toujours)" on a dance compilation. When I discovered that Gigi had a full length album out I immediately bought it. I loved "I'll Fly With You" the first time I heard it. The female vocals was what caught my ears. The entire cd reminds me of a bit of Eiffel 65 and the Vengaboys but far less annoying. The songs are irresistably catchy and danceable. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the dance cover of Fastball's "The Way". Gigi's cover is far better than the original I think. The only flaw to this album was the dark mix of "Bla Bla Bla" as well as the original version. I didn't think I heard such stupid lyrics as "Bla Bla Bla". That is one song that could have been left off on this otherwise fun album. The remix was annoying and repetitive I thought, more than anything Eiffel 65 could churn out. Otherwise I love the entire cd. I rank this cd as one of my favorite pop album next to Sarina Paris' self-titled debut album this year.

I heard one of Gigi's songs on the radio and figured he'd probably be another one hit wonder, but I had a gift certificate and figured what the heck, I'll try it. I love it! It hasn't been out of my CD player since I got it! There is a great mix of different styles and beats. I like the first CD, Chansons for the Heart, better than the second, Beats for the Feet, but only because I like a few more words mixed in with the beats. I'd definitely recommend it if you like techno music. I'm ready to try another of his albums...

5.0 out of 5 stars Gigi D'agostino is Awesome, August 5, 2003

I just bought this C.D. yestaurday and I've already listened to it 5 times (and its long when you listen to both cds with the average songs that are 6 minutes). I really love "Chansons for the heart"(cd1) I've listened to a lot of techno on burnt c.d.s, and I wa planning on making a c.d. with all my favourite songs on it after I figured out their names. Then as I listened to this c.d I was very excited to hear that all my favourite songs were on it. I did not enjoy "Beats for the feet"(cd2) as much because I couldn't sing along, but that might change once I listen to it while dancing with my boyfriends subs (its a mood thing). My favourite song is La Passion, because its a perfect love song, and it's well executed. I definately recommend this album. All the songs on cd one are excellent. I wish that more people in Canada liked this kind of music.

Every song will keep any party thumping on, it is a great dance album. There is no need to name highlights when all the songs are good. A must buy for any person that loves dance music/techno.

5.0 out of 5 stars Euro dance Smash, November 10, 2005
This review is from: L'Amour Toujours (Audio CD)
L'amour Toujours is an awesome album. "I'll Fly Away with You" is the track that got me hooked. It took me a while to find the song because Gigi isn't that popular, yet. I bought the album in 2001 when it came out, and still cannot get enough of it. The European dance is unique and capturing. My favorite tracks are "I'll fly away with You", "La Passion Medley with Rectangle", "L'amour", and "Rectangle." The vocals and beats run very smooth together to create a good, dance feel. Check out this album and dont pay attention to the negative reviews.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet cd, November 7, 2005
This review is from: L'Amour Toujours (Audio CD)
I discovered Trance, Electronica and Dance music through my bf, and this is a combination of all three.

The songs all have really catchy melodies , and are great for my iPod for long walks home, driving in a car or being high on your own supply, lol.

MY fave songs are: The Riddle - sounds medieval, with a great beat, its happy and makes me want to break down into a dance,

I'll fly with you- one of those kewl soongs you know you heard somewhere and didnt know what it is, and then bam you find it on this cd and you are so much happier for purchasing it, great tune.

Passion Medley and Another Way are one of those classic great to have in your collection songsfor a great time hanging out and listening to some really fun but cool music.

This stuff is not boring or repetitive and doesnt give me a headache. Its nice to listen to a cd and not Skip to the next song constantly.

Great cd to add your collection, perfect for a party or some good time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gigi brings it home with this great CD!, August 13, 2002

Not many people outside of Italy know who Gigi di'Agostino is. After hearing this, they will definately remember the name! Gigi puts up a great overall record here, with hits like "L'amour Toujours" and "La Passion" along with "Bla Bla Bla". The rest of the songs on this are great, and will leave listeners wanting more!

Pick this up if you like European/Italian pop/electronica. Or if you're a trance/techno freak like me, something a little different that will have you singing in the shower for weeks to come.
