The album is seductively exotic, the perfect French album for non-French speakers, with Francoiz's sultry and sexy vocals transporting the listener to rain soaked laneways in the French Quarter and smoke filled late night café's in Pigale. Her lyrics are poetic and discreetly autobiographical, her crystal clear voice betraying her appetite for melancholy. Boris Gronemberger (who audiences will recall from his amazing live work with Francoiz) plays guitar and drums. Luc Rambaud plays keyboards and vibraphone. 14 tracks.
