When purchasing this TV package I was a little worried because the only technical specs for video inputs was HDMI. I figured I would post up as many technical details as I can.

The TV has nice picture quality, I have it only hooked up to my XBOX 360 and it looks great. Very bright and sharp! Has all of your standard features, nothing really special. The sound from just the TV is average to below average.

The sound bar is a great addition to the TV and the bass on it is more than expected. Most sound bars require a sub woofer, this one does pretty well handling that. It sounds better than most low end stereo systems but not even close to a higher end Dolby surround unit. It's been a little tricky when trying to play music outside of iTunes you have to hit the mute button to get it to start playing other things (FYI)

Overall I am very satisfied with the unit and if I had to do it over again I would pick this unit again. I hope this review helps with your purchase.

I bought this during a gold box sale, paying under $500 including shipping. I was looking for a 1080P inexpensive 32 inch LCD for my bedroom, but the temporary price drop of this 40 inch TV had me biting the bullet. The TV itself has a decent picture, once adjustments to picture settings are made. Mine had 1 stuck pixel near the screen's left center edge, completely unnoticeable unless your face is a couple of inches away from the screen; I'll try massaging it out. The matte-finish screen doesn't attract a lot of reflection in my bright bedroom, which is a good thing, but there is some slight "flashlighting" from the backlight when the screen display is all black. There is some motion blur during fast-moving scenes, but not a deal breaker by any means, being a 60 Hz model.

I have this hooked up via HDMI to a HD-DVR Dish Network tuner and HD broadcasts in both 720P and 1080i look good. I also have an upscaling DVD player hooked up to it via HDMI and standard DVDs look great upscaled to 1080P. Menu settings are intuitive and simple to set, and the remote is average, but I'm still trying to figure out how to program my Dish Network remote to handle all the TV remote functions alone, as there isn't a lot of documentation on the Viore brand (re-badged Chinese LCD TVs.) I thought that I'd have to wall mount it and get rid of my bedroom AV armoire, since the specs list the length from laft to right at 44" and my armoire can handle a maximum width of 40", but the TV is actually 39.5", so it just fits.

The TV shipped via Ceva and was a couple of days late due to ice storms in Dallas, but they called me when it had arrived here in Denver, saying they could deliver it in the next 2 hours; the delivery guy actually arrived in 1.5 hours, brought it in and took it out of the box for me for inspection. He would have set it up as well, but I said I didn't need him to. The TV took me less than 10 minutes to place in the armoire, hook everything up and watch TV, then maybe 10 minutes or so to adjust picture settings to my liking.

As shipped, the TV's default settings display with not quite enough color saturation, contrast and sharpness, with a slight green cast to skin tones, but as I said, all easily remedied with a few settings changes. It has a default dynamic contrast/brightness setting labeled as "XVS enabled/disabled" that I turned off, as it tended to bother me as the whole screen would brighten/darken too much as the camera angles in the broadcast would change. Sound is average for an LCD TV without the soundbar, having 2 x 8 Watt built-in speakers, but the soundbar makes for a big improvement when turned on. It has a sleep timer, parental lock settings, several pre-set sound and picture profiles (Movies/Sports/Standard/Dynamic/Music, etc.) and allows the menu languages to be displayed in English, French, Spanish and German. It has 4 noise-reduction pre-sets and allows you to show/hide channels and label channels to your liking. I don't currently have a PC hooked up, but you can hook it up via VGA or HDMI.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase; we'll see how the longevity factor weighs in down the road, as I've only had the set for a few days.

Very happy with TV for the price I paid. The sound bar truly does make it worth the deal. I would buy this television again.

I found this when it was on sale for $500 for the tv and soundbar. I jumped on it since I hadn't even seen a 1080 tv 40" without the soundbar for that cheap. The tv is awesome! The picture quality is just as good as any name brand tvs I've seen. Totally amazing picture. The sound on the tv itself isn't fantastic, but the sound bar is and more than makes up for it. I don't have an Ipod yet, but I'm looking forward to getting one and making use of the docking station on the sound bar! I am thrilled with my purchase.

It is 2 months since i bought this tv. The HD feature did not work and it is still not fixed. It appears that there are no parts for the tv and Viore claims to be 2 weeks behind.... 2 weeks turns into 2 months. I am happy with the TV and the sound bar is cool, it would be great though, if the HD worked as i am paying for HD service.
Viore's customer service is hard to get a hold of and their customer service is farmed out. they actually changed companies since i bought the tv.

Great TV and the soundbar is excellent for theater sound feel. Incredible price of $500 delivered.
I have seen no comparable deal since I bought it at Xmas 2010.

Bought this TV a few weeks ago and wondered how it would perform. Well today was test day, I hooked everything up including a home made coat hanger antenna to receive over the air HD television. What a pleasure to watch, the screen is perfect and if the TV Station broadcast program details, they can be viewed. Also a has a CC feature when muted, kind of handy while on the phone one can still read the audio stream. I am very pleased with this Television.

I just wanted to say THE BEST EVER WONDERFUL great sound clear quality picture would recommend to anyone.

Overall if you are looking for a great deal, this is your best bet. The TV is great, I am a cheap bastard and don't have cable, but I do watch a lot of movies and play a lot of video games. The sound quality is the biggest draw back to the TV. Without the sound bar I would not recommend the TV. I have had no issues with either the sound bar or TV thus far. The sound bar is great the only problem is that my neighbors complain that it is too loud. The iPOD function is compatible with the latest iPODs, which is great. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a great cheap deal.

This was a good purchase for the price.
It was a daily deal and was fairly priced.
The soundbar really brings out the audio.
Turn up the bass and the floor will vibrate when Miami Vice reruns are on.
Only problem is with the tv remote.
It is sort of flakey and gets stuck on channel 23.
Seems strange, but I got nothing better to do than cuss and punch buttons.

The delivery was full service. It was unpacked and set up by the delivery dude.

Separate remote for the soundbar.
It has a plug-in for an I-Pod.
You can play yourine I-Tunes on this.
The remote has controls for track selection and so on.
