The screens are excellent. Perfect fit for my BB playbook and easy application. The many features that it offers are all actually there and are noticeable. I also have a BB playbook leather case and the screen guard fits on the playbook screen which fits inside the case. So it doesn't get pulled off when I take out my playbook.

IF you attempt to apply using only the thin adhesive screen, you will encounter LOTS of static and lint as you attempt to get it from clinging to your hand! To apply without the static cling, do not remove the thicker non stick screen before applying. Remove the thinest non adhesive film first, then place the adhesive side on the screen really carefully, no static (as it's too thick to cling) and you will not have as many bubbles. To remove ANY bubbles that you MAY get, use a credit card to smooth out to the closest edge. If you can join the bubbles together along the way, this will cut your time, as you are basically smoothing 2 at once! After you've smooth the bubbles out, you may then remove the thicker NON adhesive screen, leaving the thin adhesive screen on your playbook...hold your hand on it as you remove, so not to have to repeat the credit card smoothing process! ;) It worked for me.. Good luck... NOTE..I had 3 screen covers, it took me 2 tries to realize what to do! Auuuggghhh.. Trial in error.. My mistakes are your gain!! ;)

I tried every way in the world to get the bubbles out, not a dummy, have managed to do this before with other screen protectors but no dice with this one. Once you have applied it a couple of times to try and get the bubbles out it gets dust on it and then basically becomes useless as you can't get the dust off not matter what you do.

Maybe some people have a different skill set that allows them to flawlessly install this (that's the only way to explain 4 & 5 star reviews of this product) but that clearly isn't me. I bought a great hard case for my Playbook and will just wipe off the screen as needed.

Extremely disappointed with this screen protector. It does not lay flat numerous bubbles, would not purchase from them again. Followed instructions that were sent and the product did not perform as promised.

this product may be great, may be not. in my case it wasnt as i screwed up to put it on properly. i was concentrating a lot, but my screen has a lot of bubbles right now. in case you dont feel comfortable with doing it you should ask someone to do it for you. i suppose the product itself is not the problem.

It protects the screen. I have 2 issues with it though,
1. I got a stylus for my playbook, and it doesn't work as well with the protector on.
2. Bubbles. Lots of bubbles. I thought I had cleaned my screen pretty well, and even used wipes made for lcd displays and electronics, but there were unseen pieces of lint still on the display, and couldn't rectify it after the protector was applied.

This is a very inexpensive product, and it works very well. However, if you know a way of getting a lint free result, or someone who does, definitely do that first, or spend the extra cash, and get it done professionally.

I realy tried to install it but I could not solve the problem with the bubbles. Also, it should be packaged in a more protective way (mine arrived with a little mark in one edge). At the end I did not use it.

This is the only protector I've tried on my Blackberry Playbook, so I can't judge it against other types. What I can say is that I wound up tossing it because no matter how carefully I cleaned the screen prior to application, and no matter how carefully I rolled the protector down onto the screen, I wound up with tiny bits of dust under it that left annoying pockets of air. Finally, on the third try, I dropped the protector and the sticky side became completely furred with cat hair. Nothing I tried would remove that, so I gave up and the protector went into the trash. I don't find it particularly challenging to clean the screen when it becomes smudged, so I'll continue doing that for now. A screen protector would be a must for an unsupervised child using the device or for someone who tosses it into a briefcase or purse, and this is a nice, thick one that is clear as glass. Just be sure that you are in a very, very clean space when you apply it. You might want to use a handheld vacuum to go over the device screen one last time before you roll the protector on. I didn't think of that. But, then, my Playbook spends most of its time on my desk, so it's not in grave danger.

I bought this hoping it was going to be a good screen protector & it seems like it could have been but when I went to install it, it had small fibers & dirt already on the protector. I take the installations of my screencovers seriously so I take a lot of precautions so I'm pretty sure it wasn't my fault. For the price I can't be too mad but I'm not gonna wait for shipping time & just hit up Wal-mart for a new (more expensive) screencover & hope for better results.
