I'm having open heart surgery soon and wanted my 6 grandsons, ages 7-13 to have a mini science lesson as a by-product. The price on this model was right. I think the boys will have a better idea of what is going on after viewing this model heart. I certainly think it was worth the modest price, but it does need to be handled carefully after being put together, so that it doesn't fall apart.
