LEARING For-Your-Kids™ A Program to Help Develop Learning Skills

This interactive program was developed by Dr. Mary Ann Block, author of the book, No More Ritalin, to help students of all ages learn. The Learn-How-To-Learn program provides activities to help develop the necessary skills for learning.

It is often assumed that all students by the age of 5 or 6 have completed the development of skills needed to be successful in school. However this skill development is not automatic and does not occur magically by a certain age. Some students are not prepared for learning in a structured classroom situation and this can affect their entire educational careers.

Dr. Block has identified, what she considers the best of established developmental activities and converted them for home use in an easy to follow, enjoyable program. The activities in the program are designed to be skill-specific and challenging to the students who have not yet developed the ability to do the activity. It is through the accomplishment of each activity that the skill is acquired—skills that are needed to learn, the way teachers teach.

People from all over the world have purchased this home program from The Block Center.

This program includes: The Learn-How-To-Learn Workbook with information and skill specific activities; The Learn-How-To-Learn Video with demonstrations the activities with Dr. Block guiding you through each activity; The Learn-How-To-Learn® Program is for ages 4- Adult
