All of these shake type flash lights suck to be quite frank. You can shake until you are blue in the face and the end result will be a very dim lit light that is almost worthless. I guess if you are in complete darkness it is better than nothing at all, not much better though. I bought a kit that had a small, medium, and large flash light. They all worked very poorly. You get what you pay for.
