I ordered this sign as a gift for a friend with a small business. He had a neon sign that burned out and was expensive to replace. I took a chance -- who knew Amazon.com sold illuminated signage? -- and was pleasantly surprised.

Upon arrival the sign doesn't seem like much with it's simple black frame and black facia and modest LEDs just sitting there inert and uninteresting. Plug the thing in and turn it on, however, and you have a light show that really wakes you up! We put it in the window of my friend's business and he was delighted. Even in bright daylight it shows up from the main road and at night there is no doubt that he's open for business. He contends that it's brighter than his old neon sign. It also has much less heat emission, is more durable than the neon and should consume less power.

Regarding the transaction: Within hours of my initiating the purchase the seller contacted me and offered to do anything he could to ensure my happiness. Even though I requested the cheapest shipping available it arrived in just five days. Very commendable. I don't know when I'll need another LED "open" sign again, but if I do I will definitely give this seller my attention.

Again, like I said, who knew Amazon.com sold stuff like this? This is why I keep coming back to this site.
